There are 38 bowl games plus the national championship game to determine the winner. Can last year's winner bodie54 repeat?

Unless planet Earth is hit by a comet sometime between now and the national championship game I'd say it's a pretty sure bet somebody else is going to take that title :1orglaugh

I'm betting on Jagger this year. He seems very determined.
It's a shame though, that spending Super Bowl weekend with Harley Spencer won't be part of the prize package this year, as it was when I won last year :nanner:
I know how much he'd have enjoyed that.

But then this year's grand prize is a dandy too: an hour at a motel six in Brainerd, Minnesota with Michelle Bachmann, who just retired from congress specifically for that purpose :thumbsup:

Waiting until after the Army - Navy game to determine how many teams east of the Mississippi I am going to pick in East-West match-ups. Man some of these early games are really tough to pick.
I haven't actually seen UTEP, LA-Lafayette, Western Michigan, South Alabama, Bowling Green, Rice, Central Michigan, or Louisiana Tech in action this year.

they may wind up being great games to watch. Just hoping there are more good competitive games than blow-outs.

of all the years we've done this I think this was the most difficult group of games to handicap. So many really tight game lines.
only 2 teams double digit favorites (Utah State and Stanford).
I only feel fairly confident about 15 of my picks :eek: That is not a comfortable percentage at all :1orglaugh

In a shocker, Baylor wins the national championship. I will take Oregon. I know I wasn't drinking the night I picked Ohio State to beat Alabama but I'm pretty sure there was some residual stuff floating in my blood stream. Oregon over Ohio State in the Phallus near Dallas.
