as i said a few pages back...the game everyone wanted to see was oregon bama.....that game will look more and more like the game that should have been....as the clock winds down

I agree and I do think they're the two best teams. They will probably end up being ranked 1 and 2, but in the wrong order :tongue:

It would have been a heck of a game.

Oregon/Notre Dame would have been an execution. Bring the Holy Water and give The Irish their last rites

Wait a minute. Before the Fiesta Bowl, I was 3 games behind smoknn and 2 behind the upstart Beauregard. Today, I've picked up a game on each. So they BOTH picked K-State last night??? WOW. Damn....I'm a huge Big 12 guy and even I wasn't about to go there. Thanks fellas....much appreciated. :thumbsup:

BTW, no (ahem) affront meant to Dirk's Domers (hey look, they're undefeated and the Ducks lost a game so....) but I also concur that Oregon-Alabama is the game that would represent the best 2 teams in the nation. I'd love to see if the Tide D could do anything to slow down the Quack Attack!! :quack:

Much as I hate to admit it since I DESPISE them, A & M is just a juggernaut right now. Of course, I DESPISE OU as well so last night's game was sort of a downer for me....I wanted both teams to lose. Question for consideration: Could A & M be the best team in the nation?

Yeah I didn't want to believe it but as the season went on I could no longer deny it. I have seen many explosive players in my brief 29 years but I have never seen anything like the phenomenon that is Johnny Football, the way he scrambles on the sidelines is a frickin joke, Sumlin and Co. have made that team a force to be reckoned with. I'm making an early prediction that Texas A&M will be next years National Champs. The offense is just too good, when you have an offense that can drop 70 on you weekly with a solid D to boot nobody is going to stop you. Unreal.
