You can't put it all on the Cats WR's though. Kind of tough to look impressive when Testaverde and Carr are the main guys under Center!

I think Jacksonville has a strong possibility to slip up. For some reason Del Rio is always on the "hot seat" when it comes to coaching discussions.

I am curious to see what trades, if any, will be made for some of the disgruntled stars around the league. I think the draft will produce some nice surprises, but the action is going to be in trades made or NOT made!

oh yeah trades on draft day are fun.Jacksonville made a good hire in greg williams to run the defense. Actually you can blame the recivers a little bit because they never seemed to play well unless delome starts and that's because of delome not them, they need someone to make play's so steve smith isn't tripled up on every pass play

I think that next year's sleeper team could be the Houston Texans; I have been following them since their first year and think that maybe, just maybe that they will squeak into play-offs, or at least hurt some teams' chances in the last half of the season.

The Satyr Icon

i'd love to see them make a move for asante samuels then pick a decent running back in the first round.

that's the kind of decisions winners make

Well, the Bears Released Muhammed, Fred Miller, and Walker (DT)

Walker was no surprise, but their OL is very suspect. I'm guessing that's the direction they go in the draft.

Muhammed was not very productive, but they have lacked a good recieving core, and I don't see this helping.

Sounds like they are "cutting" their losses.Mushin was overrated the day the Bears signed him, imo,so letting him go doesn't seem like it's gonna kill them.Although, this is the Bears and they will probably do something stupid like draft another Michigan receiver (Manningham) that will turn out to be a bust. Not necessarily saying that he will be a bust, but just thinking off the top of my head,Michigan receivers don't have a very good track record lately in the NFL,or maybe I'm overlooking someone.

I think Braylon Edwards came out of Michigan, not sure. He started slow, but looked impressive last year!

Always thought Mushin was a good #2, better as a complimentary guy rather than the go-to guy

Given their recent picks, looks like they can evaluate defensive talent, but they are horrible at evaluating offensive guys. . . well, they turn out to be "offensive" picks, but in a different sense!

Yikes..."Gangsta" is not a wise defense strategy Reggie....:dunno:

Yeah what a moron. I heard a report a few weeks back about how after visiting one of the posh Colorado ski resorts (Aspen maybe) he went on and on about how cool it was that the merchants there were happy to give him free stuff, like watches and jewelry. But I'm sure he didn't accept any gratuities as a college student - that obviously would have been totally out of character for him

Yeah, you're right,I forgot about him being from Michigan and he did look really good last year.Is there anybody else though?

amani toomer would be the best michigan reciever in the nfl at the moment if braylon edwards isn't. i think manningham is a very interesting prospect but at 6 foot 180 he is quite a different reciever than edwards or toomer.devin thomas from michigan state might be the one to watch but i guess manningham will go earlier.

wow, Bears actually made Briggs an offer!

Toomer kind of fell off the map until the last few games this past season. Aside from these guys, Didn't Burress come from Michigan too? anyway, I agree, there seem to be a high number of star Michigan receivers that just don't pan out in the NFL.

HAPPY HAPPY DAY...SEAN SALISBURY HAS BEEN LET GO FROM ESPN!

I think Salisbury is the stupidist human on the planet. He is nothing more then a feeble-brained, kiss ass, suck up to any current player, master of the obvious kind of useless moron that passes for "an analyst" on ESPN. I always felt a bit dumber whenever I sat through a segment with Salisbury trying to hog the camera.

I have hated him professionally and when news circulated 2 years ago that he liked to take cellcamera shots of his dong and email them to interns at ESPN--I knew I had spotted a Societal Fraud! A Charlatan...a Snake of a Human.

I rejoice and find great pleasure in his misery and I hope he fades away to nothingness. Trust me on this, the Sports World is much better off today...

Finally,we agree on something!Salisbury is a complete piece of shit as far as his football analysis goes, and what the fuck does it say about ESPN for keeping his ass around for so long?At least he's being replaced with someone with a little more "on field" credentials,Cris Carter.
