Books/movies such as Twilight and 50 Shades are trying to say to girls that what they've been told in the 90' is wrong, that strong, outspoken and independant girls such as Xena or Buffy are not good role-models for them.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that absolutely doesn't get why anybody would like this. Even putting aside one's feelings about the subject matter (which truth be told isn't something I like, and would find kind of disturbing in real life), the entire production and premise of the it seems like it would make it just a very crappy book or movie in general.
I would also think the gimmickiness or shock factor of anything like this would be pretty absent in this day in age. I can't see why anybody would care or think it's anything other than dumb as a story. :dunno:

I went to see it. I was curious whether it would be terribly done, just like Twlight, or not half bad. Verdict- not all that terrible, but we didn't stay to finish it because a couple in the row behind us was going at it. And it wasn't even in the back of the theater, we were in the middle. I understand that it's a movie about sex, but for fucks sake, wait until you get home.
You should have turned around, held up your smart phone and asked them if they will sign a release so you could post the video on the net!
I'm sure they would have stopped and maybe even left the theater.

BDSM is about as goofy as it gets, and it's perplexing how many women are into this shit. I used to knock boots occasionally with a chick I met in the Wal*Mart electronics section, I was shopping for an extra hard drive for my computer and she was looking at routers.
