NFL '19 Season Thread

Much has happened.

Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is done for the year.

Drew Brees has injured his thumb and is due to miss several weeks.

Sam Darnold has mono.

The Giants have benched Eli Manning and will start Daniel Jones.

ALSO: NYG QB2 T. Simien broke his ankle; out for the year.

Both PHI WRs got banged up in Week 2; D-Jax is out 1+ weeks.

Both KC RBs got banged up; RB2 L. McCoy thinks he'll play in Wk 3 - no news on RB1 D. Williams.

---You see where the Bears are gonna wear their old throwback jerseys from the '30s in the game against the Vikes? I bet they'd much rather field their old throwback team from 1985 instead.
---The Bills are 3-0 and the Lions lead the NFC North. How long can this Fantasy Football season last??
---Aaron Rodgers threw for over 400 yards in a losing effort against the Eagles. Unfortunately for Rodgers, the Gods chose Philly. Also, Davante is out with a toe injury. But I hear his hair is doing fine. The NFC North is up for grabs, Pack fans.
---Kitchen Kupboard News: The Browns coaching staff plans to use the Paydirt board game charts for the 1974 Cleveland team and roll dice to determine the calls on the field.
---The Jets and Dolphins aren't disappointing anybody. Those two cities are beyond hoping anymore. Besides...the Bronx has one of the best home run hitting lineups in recent history, and Miami is, well, Miami.
---Brissett is doing pretty good in a world minus Luck. If he can maintain some poise in the pocket I think the Colts have a chance to contend. :2 cents:

Count me as impressed with what Greg Roman is doing with Josh Allen in Buffalo. I don't know if Allen is more of a QB than Kaepernick or Tyrod Taylor, but Roman knows how to use him. And then there's the New England D.

Freddy K was a Browns mistake, fire the dude and elevate an experienced assistant.

I genuinely feel bad for the Jets, but both they and the Bills are trending up, and I see Gang Green closing the season strong, and a trendy contender pick, for next season.

I'm a Brissett believer, after being very skeptical. He's got the QB/leader quality, enough to win with the right people. The defense took a tough hit, losing Hooker. Still, the Colts are a scrappy team.

Week 6

Cowgirls lose third in a row, this time to the mighty Jets :1orglaugh

Chargers apparently missed the team bus to the stadium.

Matt Bryant

49ers are genuinely good...although...ever since Gurley got gimply last year the Rams have taken a significant step backwards.

I saw that LAR did that trade. And, I'm scratching my head.. Their offensive line is starting ROOKIES at OLG, CTR and ORG, and is getting smashed. While Ramsey is a great player, unless he is going to intercept a pass per game and either score a TD or return it to within field goal range, this trade won't help the team this season.

Thought I heard they traded for a center also.
Go Seahawks!!!

Uggh... what a day. The only good game is on now, the 49ers against the Carolina Camless. The hapless Bengals, Broncos, Jets and Falcons should be congratulated on willing to show up and get beaten. By the way... I was watching the game over in England. When did a CLIP become a BLINDSIDE BLOCK call???? GO LIONS !!!

Cam Newton has been placed on IR, ending his season. Disappointed but it's for the best. Andrew Luck took an entire season to rest and rehab (I realize Cam played two games this year) and came back stronger than ever. Get well soon, #1.

GOD is a Falcons fan...:angels::angels:

Myles Garrett has been suspended indefinitely after swinging a helmet (Rudolph's own) at Pittsburgh quarterback Mason Rudolph in Thursday night's Browns' win. What an odd game that was.
