Niners should handle Green Bay.

Titans/Chiefs has developed into a pretty interesting matchup. Giving the Chiefs the slight edge.

Chiefs have already taken out the current Houston team. This week they'll take out the former Houston team.

How do you like those Houston Astros? Alex Cora may be given a lifetime ban by MLB. That's what everyone is thinking. He was the one who initiated of the placing of the cameras in center field at Minute Maid Park. Former Astros GM Jeff Luchnow pretty much blamed him (as the bench coach) and Astros players along with lower level Astros employees for the sign-stealing scandal, in his "I'm not a cheater facebook post... Carolina Panthers middle linebacker Luke Kuechly is retiring. This is a shock. He's had some concussions over the years, I can only assume that has influenced this decision. Wish him all the best in the next phase of his life. One of the greatest to ever wear the blue and black.

So now we have our Super Bowl contenders. The two teams Joe Montana played for. From the NFC, the San Francisco 49ers and from the AFC, the Kansas City Chiefs.

Yeah...and here we had Jerry Rice running up and down the sidelines all afternoon.
Interesting. KC stopped the running team. Now they have to face another running team, but this time one with a formidable pass rush and DBs. KC needs to pressure Garoppolo by stuffing the running game, because I don't have a lotta faith in Garo with his bum knee, plus the Niners lost one of their backs during the game...Tevin Coleman.
Before these events I might've given SF a 10-point or better advantage because of their D. But now I'm not sure. The Chiefs have shored up their defensive game and Mahomes is playing high right now.

Wow - the opening spread is KC favored by ONE.

In my NFL Playoff Challenge I have San Fran winning it. I still think their defense carries the day.

I think I speak for 90% of all humanity who watch the NFL, and I quote:
"So long as it isnt the patriots"
Nice rubber banding, nice plot twists. Would watch again. I didnt think 'Homes was the killer, but he killed it, in the end.

Looks like I'm going to bust the "Sports" section's cherry! :p

Poor Cam Newton:
The No. 1 overall pick of the 2011 draft departs Carolina as one of the best players in franchise history. Per ESPN's Adam Schefter, Newton took and passed a physical on Monday. Newton's past two seasons have been wrecked by foot and shoulder issues. Formerly an iron man, Newton's aggressive style of play has partly caught up with him, though he is only 30 years old. Growing more efficient as a passer in recent years, Newton still provides sky-high upside as a dual-threat. The teams with the biggest need at quarterback are the Chargers and Patriots. The Athletic's Jeff Howe reports the Patriots do not have "any immediate interest."
