Great game- the Giants really had a chance there for awhile. Any foot ball fan has to love that this is the game where the first team ever went 16-0 AND the single season touchdown pass record and reception record were beaten (in the same play! on a 65 yard pass!). Parts of this game felt like destiny to me.

I have to wonder how Peyton Manning, Jerry Rice, and the 1972 Dolphins are feeling right now.

Alright its over but I stand by my statement in saying that New England is definetly beatable.I saw Sam Madison pull up lame on that first pass,but I'll give New England credit they capitalized on it the next play when Madison shouldn't of been in the game.

Oh well...........On to the Playoffs,where a perfect season doesn't matter cause everybody has the same record, 0-0.

My thoughts exactly,plus the Pats are either the luckiest team or the refs are paid off.I'll say that the Patriots are definitely the best team in the league right now,but I've never seen a team get as many favorable calls in my life.It seems like since the Eagles game,whenever a team seems like they are gonna win,they end up choking and pretty much hand the game over to the Pats.And how many quick passes to Welker will the other team let the Patriots have?!Jeez,somebody knock that fucker on his ass once in a while!I wouldn't mind rooting for the Patriots if it weren't for the fact that Brady, Belichick,and pretty much the whole team are smug,fucking assholes.:thefinger

It's gonna be soooo beautiful when the Patriots choke in the playoffs,what will that 16-0 record mean then?Fuckin' squat.

Here's a question for you guys,if the Pats lose in the playoffs like I think will happen,will that not be hands down the biggest choke job in the history of sports?

I could definetly see the Jaguars beating them cause the way they have been playing lately,of couse the Colts now that Marvin Harrison is back,the Chargers could give them problems and the Cowboys with T.O. and Terry Glen could knock them off if the defense shows up thats if they can even make it to the Super Bowl

He can't carry a team on his own(like most QBs).He has an unbelievable line in front of him and outstanding receivers that can make play and get open for him.It's like arguing who's better,Barry Sanders or Emmett Smith.Sure Emmett has the career rushing title,but he also has one of the best offensive lines ever in football,where as Barry NEVER but for maybe two years had a line and look what he did.

Put Brady on the Falcons or some lame ass team and lets see what he can do.I'm not taking away from what he's done but let's get some perspective shall we.

I think that home field advantage will be the downfall of the Patriots because it's probably going to be inclement weather and that should slow down their receivers enough for them not make the play like they have been making.Randy Moss is notoriously absent when it comes to cold weather playoff games,plus they are going to have to use their running game more which doesn't really scare me.

Exactly,I mean Peyton Manning has lost all his weapons at one point in time this season plus his O-line and the Colts only lost two games and really one of them they shouldn't of lost........And no I am not saying Peyton is the greatest either.Its not just winning or records its pretty much every collectively including being able to win regardless who your are playing with or against

And zell I think your are right about if the Pats loose in the Playoff.I consider the Vikes lost to the Falcons and the Colts lost to the Steelers the biggests chokes but they will be far suppassed if N.E. looses

They put Montana on the Chiefs and he almost took them to the Superbowl,I'll be it that the Chiefs then were better than the Falcons now,but nowhere near as good as the 49ers. If he wasn't there the Chiefs wouldn't have even made it to the playoffs,so what's your point again?

If they win it all with no controversy,then I'll give them props because they would've earned it but it makes me sick to see ESPN comparing them to other SB champions when this team hasn't even made it to the Superbowl yet!
