I'm not entirely sure how the rules work between the networks but I think CBS and FOX each get to have one game that they can keep themselves and protect from the flex scheduling putting on the night game. That might have been one of those games. :dunno:

so out of all the games they could put on Sunday Night... the Bills and the Patriots. what the fuck is this, :dunno:

If I had to guess I would say the Patriots are going to get a lot of coverage from now to the end of the year until they are defeated whether anybody likes it or not.

i just want to see something decent on sunday night, i guess i'll watch cartoons.

Wouldn't one think that you cover someone after the first or second TD,not after the third of fourth........................T.O.:D

Brian Grieses come and go, but Rex Grossmans never die!

he just might since teh O-line looks like a freakin revolving door!!!

Fred Miller is the Human Turn-style!

I figured the offense wouldn't be clicking, but the D is horrible this year! Injuries? Coordinator? what the hell happened and who's to blame?

season is over, put in Orton and see if he can develop into something good. Rex didn't play too bad, but I'm lookin for someone who can win u the game, ot just someone who won't lose it for you!:fight:

Remember way back in the day (like last year :1orglaugh) that people were ripping on T.O. and Randy Moss because people though they were washed up and overrated. I guess they kind of showed us.

I also wonder when the supposed Romo meltdown that everybody says will happen, will happen. Seems like he isn't that bad to me. Maybe it's just me but it seems he has imporved a lot since last year. He must have drank the opposite water from what the Bears quarterbacks have been using for the last 20 years.

The thing is that three of TO's TDs he was wide open and then on the over the guy wif on the tackle and knock him out of bounds.......I mean come on now it TO one of the deadliest players after the catch. But hey a win is a win

I see the Patriots ran the score up on another opponent. I wonder if Belchichunk and Tom Brady will be as big of asses as they usually are in the post-game press conference.

^i enjoyed it :)
it was a good laugh

Tom Brady is this nation's #1 Stud. He is the best Quarterback to play in the NFL in the last 30 years. He has New York Model/Movie Star Good Looks. He was banging a gorgeous actress (Brigette Moynihan) but is now getting laid by, arguably, the hottest piece of ass on the globe....

And, yet, when he gives a press conference...he sounds like a goddamn dumass NERD!! :1orglaugh He comes off unintelligent...dry..boring...like a computer tech dork.

I still wouldn't mind trading my worthless life for his...he is still the Nation's Stud. He just should stay away from a live mic. He ruins the dream when he speaks..

QUESTION
Should an NFL team, assuming the Pats are blowing them out, put a bounty on Tom Brady? Does running up the score deserve a cheap shot? Wouldn't any team trade a defensive player getting fined and tossed out of the game in order to send the Pats a message? If someone cheap shots Brady and knocks him out for a week or 2..will that player be treated as a hero?

No, he'll be treated as dog shit. This is professional football, meaning those in the game have chosen a profession that requires them to play football. And that's what they do. The run up the score because in the course of doing their jobs, they score on every fucking drive. If you're losing big to someone then you're not doing your job but if you "put a bounty' or throw a cheap shot, then you're just pathetic. The players in the NFL realize they are all in an extremely high risk profession and they know that the next play could be the last of their career. For this, an overwhelming majority of them show a tremendous amount of respect for each other. In what other sport do you see a huge number of opposing players congregating on the field after the game, hugging each other, saying hello, wishing them luck next game, etc.? It happens in football because, win or lose, they all just went through war and they know their status as a professional football player is a precarious one, and to be able to just make it to play next week is a huge accomplishment in its own right.

The only people that care about "running up the score" is the media. It's just another story they try to sell us. Players, coaches, they don't give a fuck. You either win or lose, it doesn't matter how you get there. And if some dumb fuck takes out Brady's knee, he will be massacred the next week. Or more likely, benched by any coach smart enough.
