UM in a championship game?

Not in the recent past or anytime soon.

Maybe Hairball or Les Miles will come back.

Laugh now...but honestly all we're doing now is trying to let our little brothers in C-bus(t) play a little "ketchup". But we would still need to spot you guys another decade or 2. Enjoy it while it lasts.

There was an "Insider" report on ESPN which said LSU was courting Johnny Gruden...I guess the other part of that "Insider" article had Miles on the Midnight Train to Ann Arbor this Christmas?

I could not see Ohio State in that division as Jagz laid out (if Notre Dame accepted a B10 bid) because that Division is way too top heavy. Ohio State would/SHOULD move to the other division to balance out the Big 10.

Yes, the Wolverines ran up a pretty good lead prior to WWI, but since Czar Nicholas was dethroned, the Buckeyes have a winning record over that State up North.

Count on it.

They all count. But alas...anyone on a losing side would like to pick up the count where they want.

I think Miles would leave LSU in a heartbeat for Michigan, but, being honest, Jimmy Harbaugh is the man for the job  Strangely enough, I think Harbaugh is in lurve with Stanflurf and maybe won't actually leave The Farm until the Raiders come calling this year....

At time it was hard for Alabama to score 24 points Bama has a great defense and a strong running game to say something like that is a little:rolleyes:Anyway unless you know something we don't I'm all :bigear:

2 of the best running backs in the ncaa....one of the bestWR in the ncaa...and a qb that is undefeated .......it takes 35 points to beat bama this year trust me ...i never seen a bama offence with so much talent....and we all know the defence will be there...it always is!!:glugglug:...........back to back?????if we was betting horse racing ...bama is my horse

Harbaugh knows if M comes calling he would be there in a heartbeat. I believe that's part of the reason his extension took so long to announce. I think the heads at Stanford respect JH's desire to potentially leave for A2 at some point. They're probably realistic about it and wouldn't begrudge his decision.

guess whos got 13 national titles pssst its bama...this year may be 14..you score 35 points or you dont beat bama this year..and i dont see that.

And this is the same team that nearly lost to a backup freshman QB.

But, yes, Alabama will be really really good next year.

I've seen this story before. It ends in the Rose Bowl with defeat to Texas. See USC 2006 :wave2::crying:

I don't know who will beat Bama yet, but someone will. They will not go back-to-back this year.

Yes, because games played over 100 years ago before the forward pass, the concept of a line of scrimmage, 11 players are relevant today.

Rome used to rule the known world, but I don’t think anyone would argue they are a super power today.

Maybe the Romans of today would? :dunno: ;)

I'm actually leaning to the Ohio State/Miami winner as being my pick to knock off Bama this year...:thefinger

What are you talking about?? It's not like UM faded into irrelevancy since. We owned OSU in the 90's and until RR we had a far longer and consistent record of success than OSU.

Until RR we had the longest bowl streak....All that and we STILL owned OSU in total wins and total series wins.

Who cares what he rules were??? Like blaming a loss on a wet, muddy field. Both programs were playing under the same rules.

For years the B10 only allowed one team to go to a bowl game....possibly costing it's conference a couple of national championships...so what...those were the rules then.

Before you pound you chest too hard there 'Mega, I have a short video that might help bring you back down to earth:

:1orglaugh

Now, I'll be the first to admit that Michigan is a first-rate program and will make it back eventually. However....until they do....you've got nothing to be strutting your stuff about ala our resident 'Bama shill. His team's got the title so he can spout off all he wants (I guess :dunno:). Not much else to do in the state that "stars fell on".

Michigan has basically sucked the past 3 years and I don't see them making a roaring comeback this year either.

Besides, we all know that the real UM is usually known simply as the U. ;):glugglug:

Sorry Jag....Michigan was UM before anyone ever knew what a Miami Hurricane or that silly Ibis was.

And the reality is, EVEN WITH the destruction RR has brought to our proud and historic program the past 2 seasons...UM STILL has the most all time wins (877) and the highest winning percentage (0.735) in college football history.
:hatsoff:
