Wade stuck his foot out but it barely touched Garnet. Plus, Wade was clearly fouled on the elbow. Pierce fouled out.

    NBA '11/'12 Thread

Celtics doing a great job on Wade. Doubling him almost every time he touches the ball. Only 2 points at the half. Rondo going nuts.

I think Boston is going to take my Heat to at least 6 games without Bosh. They're playing us really tough tonight.

    NBA '11/'12 Thread

^^^^ This is going to be an awesome series. I expect Westbrook and Harden to have much better games.

    NBA '11/'12 Thread

Thanks for giving us that series Pacers. All that size, yet, you settle for 3s? That was probably one of the dumbest play/coaching I've seen in a while. Wade and Lebron went HAM. Bring on the Celtics.

    NBA '11/'12 Thread

Gonna be a tough battle against the Pacers tonight. My Heat are very thin on the front-court with Haslem and Pittman (and Bosh) out. I expect the Pacer to pound us in the inside. I think Lebron and Wade are gonna have to combine between 60-70 points if we expect to pull it out.

    NBA '11/'12 Thread

^^^^ LOL that's hilarious! I guess I wasn't the only one who thought Lebron and Ibaka had better defensive years. I loved Haslem's hard foul. Just sticking up for his brother. Though, I don't think he meant to make it look so obvious.

    NBA '11/'12 Thread

Awesome performance from my Heat tonight. It's about time we start hitting 3s. I still think game 6 is gonna be a battle, especially if Haslem is not eligible for the game. But then again, the Pacers might be down some players as well.

    NBA '11/'12 Thread

Really!? No mention about Lebron's historic performance? 40 pts 18 reb 9 ast... But let me guess.... "He needs to do it in the Finals." blah blah blah. If it was anyone else, we'd be jizzing in our pants. With that said, the Pacers/Heat series is far from over. Wade and Lebron are...

    NBA '11/'12 Thread

I got a lighter in one hand and a Wade jersey in the other. If the Heat end up losing this series, I'm burning it. Seriously, what was that? And I'm not talking about his argument with Spo (cause I think that happens all the time), but just his game entirely. That had to have been one of the...

    NBA '11/'12 Thread

The Heat just played like shit. Sure, some will point that Bosh wasn't playing, but the Heat put themselves in the position to win and didn't execute. On to the next one.
  16. rwill25

    NBA '11/'12 Thread

Should be interesting to see how my Heat fair without Chris Bosh. I think we should win the game tonight, but I wouldn't be surprised if we lose a game on the road. Ultimately, we should still win this series. Don't know if we can get past Boston or the Western Conference champs without Bosh.
  17. rwill25

    NBA '11/'12 Thread

I think the Pacers are going to be a pretty tough opponent. They gave us a run for our money today. I wouldn't be surprised if this series goes 6.

NHL v. NBA: Which playoffs are better?

Like I said earlier, it depends on how you look at it. I still think it's much harder to win a title in the NBA. We'll have to agree to disagree.

NHL v. NBA: Which playoffs are better?

I guess it depends on how you look at it. If you're the best team in the NHL entering the playoffs, then sure, the road ahead of you looks tough. But at the same time, one of the worst teams feels like they got a chance. If you're one of the best teams in the NBA, sure, you like your chances...

NHL v. NBA: Which playoffs are better?

That makes no sense. If the Stanley Cup is so difficult to win, then how can 16 different teams win it? It's more difficult to win a title in the NBA because you need to be a great team top-to-bottom (almost flawless). You can't just catch fire and win a NBA title. The NBA is a league where the...

    NBA '11/'12 Thread

Don't you get it? Winning one game against the Miami Heat is like winning the Super Bowl for him. The Heat are trying to win a championship. The Knicks just want to win a playoff game. Their season is a success now.
  24. rwill25

    NBA '11/'12 Thread

^^^ That too. Congrats on your victory. Is that like the biggest win for the Knicks in the last 10 years? I bet you're gonna get fucked up tonight.

    NBA '11/'12 Thread

Seriously, out of all the games we lose this one!? A banged up Amare, Davis gets injured, no Lin, no Shumpert. Carmelo played great though. Made a lot of contested shots. I doubt he can keep playing like that.

    NBA '11/'12 Thread

Boston is not going to be an easy opponent. No team has given us more troubles this year than Boston. They've kicked our ass twice. Miami would probably rather play Chicago, even if Rose was still healthy. :1orglaugh:rofl2:

NHL v. NBA: Which playoffs are better?

If we're talking this year... NHL. So far the NBA playoffs have been . There's probably only two interesting series (Celtics/Hawks, Clippers/Grizzlies). The rest really aren't worth watching. Once the NBA gets to the semifinals (maybe even 2nd round), it's the NBA in a landslide.

    Andew Luck or R.G. III?

Yeah, I was hoping Landry Jones would come out too... but for a completely different reason. I'm a OU fan and I think Landry Jones is the most overrated QB in college football. The dude is absolute shit. Can't do anything without Ryan Broyles. Has no feel for pressure what-so-ever. I can't...

    2012 NFL Draft Thread

I think the Broncos drafted ok. I would have liked to see more defensive players, but I still like what we did overall. Brock Osweiler is an intriguing addition. I think it's prefect that he gets to sit behind Peyton Manning and learn. Looks like we may be set at QB for a while. Some are...

    NBA '11/'12 Thread

The Knicks have struggled against the Heat all season long. Some suggested that they should tank games to get the Bulls in the 1st round (they've had some success against the Bulls). Tyson Chandler came out and said they wanted the Heat in the 1st round because they were pissed at the way they...

This Mavs/Thunder match-up is looking like an awesome series. The Heat/Knicks series was suppose to be the juiciest match-up.... but the Heat are on a championship mission. The Knicks look like they're just happy to be here. Melo needs help.
  37. rwill25

    2012 NFL Draft Thread

Yeah, the Broncos have a lot of holes, so the more picks the better. But I'm hearing rumors that the Broncos are thinking about taking a QB (Brock Osweiler) and a TE or WR. These aren't needs areas for us. DT, Safety, and RB are the areas that we need to fill.

Yeah, but he looks really good in shorts. That's what it's all about... right? Miami fans will go crazy if they don't draft a QB in the first round.

All Aboard: Defining the "Bandwagon Fan"
