San Francisco has cut their losses and traded Trey Lance to the Dallas Cowboys for a 4th round pick. In 2021, San Francisco traded three 1st round picks and a third round selection to move up to #3 and select Lance.

For Jets fans, it can't get any worse. J-I-N-X - maybe?

The Jets franchise quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who signed with the Jets in April after being traded from the Packers, goes down with a torn left Achilles injury four plays into the Bills game on Monday after being sacked by Bills DE Leonard Floyd. An MRI will be needed. Is he out of the season? Quite possibly.

Heartbreaking turn of events for the Jets and their fans. I am sure this is not how Aaron Rodgers wants to go out but he is 39 years old and this not a ***** injury.

Dick Butkus has died.

I just saw a story on Yahoo. I'm not a fan of football, but even I know Dick Butkus. He was at one time A third owner of my favorite cigar company, Camacho. He and his 2 partners sold to Davidoff a few years ago. I thought he was a colorful character, and while I can't speak to his coaching or playing record, I do know he made some great appearances, on a few shows. R.I.P. Mr. Butkus
