well mcfadden isn't the savoir al davis wants but he and justin vargas playing together might give jamarcus the time he needs to develop. john booty went to the best possible team he has no pressure to win the job and the offense and defense are solid to spectacular, adding jared allen to that line is so good.mendhall and sweed make the steelers nore interesting. Dallas is hopping that someone will deal them a disgruntled wr. matt ryan has 2 yrs to prove himself because if he sucks when vick is released there is going to be alot of pressure to keep vick in atlanta. kansas city might have had the best draft 3-5 of there players are going to start kc's record won't show that this year but next year watch out. the titians must hate vince young no help at wideout for a second straight year crumpler will help if his knee is sound

who are the titians? they sound interesting

oh the Tennessee team thay are. Al's angling to move back to la when his oakland lease expires.the bengals actually took a stand on thurman so nice to see.

I looks like the 2011 season could be canceled if the owners and the players' union don't reach an agreement soon. That seems rather unlikely, given the fact that the owners claim to be actually losing money on their teams, in spite of overwhelming evidence that says the contrary. For example, the value of my beloved Dolphins, the worst team in football last year, a team that hasn't made the playoffs since 2001, has more than tripled since Huizenga bought them in 1993. I think that it's the owners' greed that would prevent a 2011 season from happening.

Story

A deal will get done. I was just listening to it on Sirius NFL radio and I gather that it will get done regardless. It might be 2010 but it will get done. NFL cant afford an uncapped year or a hold out if it wants to keep its product growing even more massive on a Global Scale. Also the St. Louis Rams are up for sale so LA might be seeing themselves a team even more so now with up to 4 teams considering moving after there stadium contracts are up.

The problem with LA is finding a place for a stadium. There's really no suitable place for a team there. Anaheim isn't really LA, and the Coliseums sucks as a football stadium, so those are out. Besides, any team going there will want a brand new state-of-the-art facility in which to play their games. It would be great if they could get it, but I don't think that'll happen for a few more years.

Well alot of the team relocating talks seem to point to 2011 as the time of movement. This is when the Vikings facility's lease is up. As far as a stadium goes in LA they need to build a stadium that can house more than just Football, maybe concerts etc. This will help the cash flow alot and give the city a reason to have it cus it could be used all year besides only the months of football.

Baseball and football under the same roof seem to be pretty popular around the country. Also, a concert can be set up literally anywhere; I've set up shows on numerous occasions in parking lots.

well with matt ryan signing for 6yrs and 72 million i can guess that the raiders will have another rookie holdout this year. LA made a prestentation to NFL officials about a month ago showing them possible sites. i forget the person's name but he has land to build a stadium. btw the vikings would be the last team allowed to move because the other teams owners have been in the league longer,at least thats what i;ve read

Not all owners are throwing up the possibility of relocating there teams like the Jags,Rams,Vikes and BIlls. Right now it seems the rightful place for the Bills is Toronto if they do move.

The Bills aren't going anywhere. There is a billionaire from Buffalo (I can't remember who it is) who said a few months ago that he would buy the team to keep it in Buffalo if the current owner decided to try to move out of the city. The current owner said that if he were offered the right amount for the team he would definitely consider the sale.

The people of LA don't want another pro team. They already have USC (and ucla might become something big with Neiweazel and Norm Chow)...for all this huff-n-puff with LA being "RaiderNation" the Raiders left because they played before a half-empty Coliseum every week...and when the Raiders were in LA they weren't ever as shitty as they are now.

The LA Sports Fan has the best of all worlds...they get the best televised matchups every week....why would they want to change that?

The thing I'm interested in seeing is if there will be a massive meltdown in Big D this season....I think TO is due to turn back into IncredibleHulk TO and tear apart the lockerroom with his antics...

titsrock you maybe right but the NFL has to look at putting a team in the number 2 tv market. I think a consistent playoff tem like jacksonville would fill more seats than the raiders or vikings. the bills will either be in buffalo or toronto.the current owner knows he will need to sell because his children do not want the team, that billionaire better start talking to him soon,as the current owner is 89

red001

well i'm not surprised he went back to Toronto, thats where he started. the rumblings out here in norcal is that the raiders expect to have mcfadden signed soon. jason taylor says he is reporting to training camp for miami any body belive him?

red001

Im tired of the Jason Taylor news. Better things can be talked about.

If he isn't traded, I think it might turn out like the Michael Strahan stuff from last year where it was made a big deal before the season began and turned out to be a non-issue after that. It didn’t' exactly hurt the New York any.
