Well,Jack Del Rio and the Jags tried to give that game away in the forth quarter, but I'm glad they won because chances are they will play the Pats next week, and they will probably give them fits with their running game.

Holy shit the Steelers nearly steal (stole) the game but didn't ha ha

Doesn't matter who wins b/c the Pats (even though i don't like'em) are taking the SB trophy home.

I thought the Steelers also did there best to blow that game (which they did) when they had the lead on their final possession. They didn't do anything but go conservative and run it up the middle twice and then try a Big Ben roll out what didn't get them anything. It was like they were channeling Martyball in its worse moments. He's also not the kind of quarterback to be doing a designed run at that time in that game. Thus instead of getting a first down and probably putting the game away they give it back to Jacksonville with plenty of time to go down the field to get a field goal.

If the defense can manage to hold itself together for another year the offense is so bad it has nowhere to go but up. So in that respect I have hope for next year. In fact if they can get some mad scientist to combine Grossman's, Griese's, and Orton's best qualities into one person they might have a below average quarterback instead of a terrible one for once.

They still have to start thinking about getting younger on the offensive line.
agree, but for some unknown fucking reason they are intent and sticking with grossman. apparently they want him back if the price isn't too high, and considering he has been so inconsistent, they will probably resign him as the most likely starter for next year:crying:

I thought the Steelers had the right plan at the end. Leading, however slim, and forcing the Jags to use their timeouts. Garrard looked pathetic throwing the ball. a running team without the ability to stop the clock and a QB who was struggling, Pitt made the right move. It was Garrard's scrambling that saved their asses!

i doubt they are getting past the pats or the colts. I am hopng to see the Pats/Colts rematch!

Other then a healthy Colts team,I think the Jaguars are the biggest threat to the Patriots and I really hope the Chargers win tomorrow so the Pats and Jags can fight it out.

As for the Redskins, emotion can only take you but so far.The Seahawks defense looked extremly good today until they backed off.Hopefully Hasselback won't make any overtime guarantees and they'll beat the Packers

I would agree if the Steelers were further upfield when they did that, but they were pretty far back into their own zone and they needed first downs and field position more than they needed the Jags to blow some of their time outs there. The problem I saw with that, even if the Jags offense didn't look good at that moment was the fact they were putting pressure on their defense to hold the Jags to almost no gain after that. After they punted all the Jags needed was two or three first downs or a mid range passing play that was successful and they would have already been in field goal position. The Garrard scramble that went that far was just icing on the cake that all but assured them the win.

Also I know some people are going to be questioning the two two-point conversions they did early in the fourth. They were terrible decisions like some other two point tries I have seen but I probably wouldn’t have gone for it myself. If they kicked the extra point on both then they lead by three and a field goal by the Jags only ties it. There’s a reason some coaches will only do them late in the fourth quarter unless their absolutely sure they have no choice before that, and in some ways that was an example why.

These playoff games have all been fairly boring, but considering their competitive legitimacy, they still beat the hell out of those worthless BCS games.

The Titans are actually playing better then I thought they would, well atleast the defense is.I like the Chargers and I am pulling for them so I can see the Jags play the Pats

Sorry to do this to you,KFD,but...:1orglaugh

Honestly, I think the playoffs this year are gonna be great. Favre has NEVER won in Dallas, and thats where the NFC goes through. Should be fun game if it boils down that way.

And c'mon, if a defending champs Indy vs undefeated Pats AFC title game in New England isn't even just a bit appealing to you, turn in your man card now.

I guess we better hope that the second round is a little bit better, and what will happen if the Fudge Packers and the Cowboys lose(which is a very real possibility might happen)?
GO JAGS!!!

Yeah, I was bored. Is this supposed to be your 'I told you so moment'?

Kind of,but honestly, not really.I just felt like fuckin' with you a little. If it were anyone else I probably would have done the same thing just for "Schitzengiggle'.:D

Hey NEWS FLASH, this was the wild card round there zell. The potential games I've been looking forward to aren't for a couple of weeks. But you already pointed that out, now didn't you. ;)

I'm assuming you will be rooting against the Patriots and 'America's team'? I have no choice but to root for the Cowboys if they face the fudge packers. But that's ok, there should be lots of camera shots of Jessica Simpson every time the Cowboys play, and the best part, plenty of Romo/Jessica jokes to throw around.

That's funny,I thought the Patriots were America's team.

i agree with every part of that!!! Taylor was my favorite safety in the game, so i was pulling for the 'Skins. . . that kickoff they recovered had me going nuts!. . . but other than that, can't find anyone to root for:(
I don't like Dallas (especially TO), and I just can't pull for the Pack.

I like LT, so maybe the chargers? would love to see the pats go down, particularly at the hands of the colts (although I rather they didnt make it back to the superbowl. . . . FUCKERS!):D

Exciting 1st quarter in Green Bay. Yeah thats right zell.. EXCITING! :sunny:

Just what you ordered:thumbsup:.Now wait until tonight for the Pats/Jags,lets see how exiting that one is.Go Jags!!!

"Do you believe in miracles?" I can't even imagine the score in that one being close. But yeah, Go Jags!

Why not? The Pats haven't blown out a good team in some time.I can actually see them losing this game if the refs don't give it to them like I know they will.

Jags are looking good now if they can just keep it up and not have a "moment" I think they can win
