Don't forget, they have to say how nervous they are to play the Jets next week because of their rock-solid defense:rolleyes:.

:1orglaugh

Exactly. "The Jets are capable of winning just like we are. Any team can win on any given Sunday. They get paid to stop us. We'll have to match New York's intensity. We'll need to have a great week of practice and study the film to learn their tendencies...." blah blah blah....

Its all but over now, 21 points in 7 minutes just doesn't happen.

I'm sure I'll catch hell for this but here it goes.

Ever since about a few weeks ago, I think that this season has became boring. It started well enough but the pretenders and contenders were separated as the season went on,as expected, and a few teams are showing some heart late in the season but for them it will probably be all for naught.

I thought that the Pats would go to the SB but I didn't think that they would roll over the competition. That said, what's the attraction anymore? I watch the first quarter, no more that a half to see how much they will win by and after that I just tune out. There were a couple of close calls to get peoples interest back up of "Will the Patriots finally lose this week?" against teams they should've blown out.

The only reason to watch now is to see if the Pats will go 16-0 and choke in the playoffs and that's exactly what I'm hoping for, because let's be honest,do we really want to give something else for Boston to brag about. The Red Sox,Patriots, and maybe the Celtics. It's gonna be fucking sickening.

As for the NFC,are we gonna be surprised when the Cowboys and the Packers play in the NFC title game? Are the Seahawks finally coming on and are the Viking gonna make some noise in the playoffs, assuming that they get there?Probably not on both accounts.

So here's what I'm gonna do.If any combo of Dallas,Green Bay,or New England ends up in the SB, then I'm not even gonna bother watching.Let's all pray for the upsets to make the NFL somewhat exciting again.

^ i was already looking ahead to next year

Nah, actually this is the most exciting season I've seen in a long time, to be honest.

And me, I wanna see the Pats go all the way, fuck whether people brag or not. You know why? THEY DESERVE IT! Yep!

I will respectfully disagree with you about how exciting the season is and the Patriots don't deserve anything. In the NFL you only deserve what you earn and they haven't earned anything yet.If they are 16-0 and have a great team should all of their opponents just forfeit their games because the Patriots "deserve" to win? Hell No! Sorry dude,I just get a little peeved when people say that teams or players deserve anything. You only deserve what you earn.

Last year for me was the most exciting season in a long time, but from a pure neutral stance, I'm with ya Fox.

Honestly, I think the playoffs this year are gonna be great. Favre has NEVER won in Dallas, and thats where the NFC goes through. Should be fun game if it boils down that way.

And c'mon, if a defending champs Indy vs undefeated Pats AFC title game in New England isn't even just a bit appealing to you, turn in your man card now.

You are proving my point.Does anyone truly feel that any other teams other than the four you mentioned is going to win?Sure you can say they have a shot, but do you actually think they'll win?A four horse race isn't exciting to me until one of them gets taken out(hopefully all of them).NE vs Indy will probably be the best game to watch but aren't you sick of seeing those teams!?I know I am.

I know what you're saying. I've just decided that this year, it's time to stop hating and start appreciating!

Hey, if you can't beat 'em, join 'em. So .. Go Pats .. Go Indy .. Go Dallas .. and Go Pa...j/k :angels:

Screw all that. Go whoever plays the Fudge Packers!!

I refuse to watch a Packers Cowboys NFC Championship game because I hate both teams.Hopefully the Vikings or the Seahawks can take both of them down so we won't have to hear about the "old gunslinger" vs the "new gunslinger" B.S..

The Patriots already kicked the shit out of the Cowboys. A rematch in New England in the miserable snow....I'm not really all that excited about that, to tell you the truth. The Cowboys seem like phonies to me. I just don't buy Romo and TO as being world beaters. I think they are pretenders. The NFC is hurting from New Orleans and Chicago sucking ass this season. It'd be nice if both were in the mix this year.

The Super Bowl this year is Pats/Indy Round II. That's the only game I'm looking forward to. I'm interested to see if the Pats hang 60 on the Fish in 2 weeks...that might be fun to watch.

blasphemy. how can you not want to watch favre?

Uhhh....sometimes real life sports aren't like movie scripts. You can't have nail-biting suspense all the time. I just enjoy the sport for what it is, and that means there are times when a handful of teams dominate the others.

All I know is that my team sucks, and we're forced (once again) to look ahead to next year for yet even more rebuilding.

*sigh*

My Jets lost again! :( :crying:
Im soo tired...just tired...

Don't they play the Pats again? Just think of the positive side. Even if they loose they are expected to loose anyhow so in a way they have nothing more they can give up. On the other hand if they win it would be one of the biggest upsets ever.
