Even if the Bears draft a quarterback next year, I don't even know if they are going to be in a position be get the first couple that come out. Knowing the Bears they will blow their first round pick and end up taking a QB in the 5th round that will be their "star of the future" while all their fans wallow in sadness.

I also was reading reports about a possible Lance Briggs trade to SF that didn't go though. I have a feeling they might lose him anyhow and now they won't get anything in return besides a supplemental pick.

I am so nervous about tomorrows Pats/Steelers game. The Pats have been playing like crap lately and they really need to step it up to beat the Steelers. I guess we will see tomorrow.

i agree, but they should have gotten something for him while they could have. yeah, he whined about money, but he has played well the last couple of years. I am tired of these guys trying to slap at the ball instead of wrapping up the ballcarrier! just make the damn tackle!

OOOOOOOOOO, I'm sick of that too!!! If the Bears would focus on making tackles instead of trying to strip the ball, teams wouldn't be walking all over us. Case in point, Clinton Portis' big run to the 1 yard line the other day...he got like 25 extra yards because people forgot to TACKLE him.

OOOOOOOOOO, I'm sick of that too!!! If the Bears would focus on making tackles instead of trying to strip the ball, teams wouldn't be walking all over us. Case in point, Clinton Portis' big run to the 1 yard line the other day...he got like 25 extra yards because people forgot to TACKLE him.

The way I have always been told of how to play the game was that you always made sure you had the tackle first. Stripping the ball as something that was secondary to the tackle except for a limit number of circumstances. Also if your in a situation where your starting to gang tackle somebody and there are a bunch of you trying to strip the ball you always have at least one person wrapping up the legs, you never let the guy push you five yards further upfield while a bunch of you try to strip the ball.

Looks like another let down.If the Steelers defense is suposed to be #1 why is it that Baltimore and Philly's defenses looked better.Its gotta be the secondary and not having Polamalu doesn't help any.Oh well they probably won't lose before the playoffs but once they start its a whole new season

I think, judging by today's ass-kicking going on by the Pats on the Steelers..that the Patriots were "faking" it the last 2 weeks and letting Philly and Baldy "hang around" to make it look like they had a chance to win the games.

The Pats are well on their way to hanging 50 on the Steelers. Where's that Steelers Safety that guaranteed the Win? What a jackasshat.

It looks like Tom Brady is going to be cheapshotted if he throws another TD pass. Pittsburgh has nothing to play for except "respect"...the Pats don't appear to be "respecting" them anymore...

Pittsburg is definetly physical enough to beat the Patriots but they don't have the personel that the Ravens and Eagles have.But I still think they shoulda beat New England
