Panthers pick Devin Funchess (2nd round pick from the Rams). Another tall receiver (6' 5") to go along with Benjamin. I like this pick. This *** can play.

The extra point after a touchdown will now be kicked from the 15 yard line, making it a 33 yard kick. 2 point attempts remain at the two yard. Additionally, defenses can now advance the ball on the extra point / 2 point attempt in the event of a turnover. As of now, this is only in effect for the 2015 season. I think it will be really weird.

Roger Goodell will not recuse himself and will hear Tom Brady's appeal on Deflategate. What is the point of having an appeals process in place if the person hearing the appeal is the same person who issued the original ruling? Does such a setup exist in any other business? It doesn't make sense.

Cam's extension ties up a ton of money for a while. I hope Funchess pans out. I am glad we signed Ginn. Panthers won't be signing any big name players in the foreseeable future. Some are saying we aren't getting good value for Cam. I think this upcoming season is the tale of the tape.

Cam should come in healthy. This season will be interesting because I think we can be very good, or we could suck donkey balls. No middle ground.
