Is Islam the sole problem? So you're going to go to war with all muslims? Thats where this type of thinking derails itself.

Islam is a way of thinking, just like every other religion. If it wasn't Islam being the TRIGGER in these regions, it would be something else (politics, etc). You want to bomb California simply because Los Angeles has a gang problem (it is a shotgun instead of a fly swatter approach).

The problem with this type of thinking is that whatever standard you use to discredit other religions, can also be used to discredit "yours". So to that end, this type of beligerence comes across as "hegemony or die.....conform and assimilate or you will be exterminated". That doesn't actually help solve the issue that is the actual problem, its just a feel good idea.

I looked at the video. I'm not saying "one better than the other" in this thread. Islam is broken and it needs to be fixed either by it's own lot or by external forces or a combination of the two. Christianity fixed itself nearly 300 years ago. Islam is still in the Dark Ages.

I foresee a larger conflict will emerge within the next 20 years between the West and the Islamists. This is a clash of cultures not civilizations as some would say.
