Wow, what a punch in the balls for Marshall. Just a few yards away from sealing it. And the defense choking it away giving up 2 90+ yard dives in 8 minutes. Though the game shoulda been sealed when the WVU lineman obviously held in the endzone, which shoulda wound up being a safety. Nonetheless, tough pill for the Herd.

Ok so i'm on the espn site looking at all the games and which to keep an eye on and I notice on the top banner there's this Admiral Ackbar for mascot and i'm like wtf? so i click it, watch the video and thought it hilarious and decided to hop over to scout.com to say so and i see the Ole Miss fans are embarrassed by it for some stupid fucking reason. Same thing on scout.com. Apparently humor has been banned over there.
Watch this video and i'll ask you guys, which is embarrasing? The video or being an SEC team and losing to FCS division 1AA Jacksonville State??? Of course if my team gave the worst defensive showing of any SEC team in the history of mankind then I guess I'd have a hard time finding humor in anything too.... (they DO have some hot women tho)

VERY hard for me to embrace Michigan based on one good game, especially going on the road to Lurking Dirkville. Throw in the absence of Charlie Weiss (that's like putting an automatic extra 7 points on the board for the Domers) and it gets even tougher. However, I'm picking Michigan 27 to 24

No worries. Even though the Cardinal figure to suffer mightily from the loss of Gerhard the Bruins are still two years short of becoming relevant again. I see them winning three games this year, including a season ending victory over Titsrock's woeful USC Felons

Florida State Versus Boomer Sooner
Boomer Sooner's almost meltdown last week to UsnoreState has me rethinking this one, too. Even if Boomer Sooner was looking ahead and hearin' those drums and horns from Tally a week early...
it's hard to look past givin' up 300+ in the air against UsnoreState. I gotsta think Christian Ponder and the 'Noles will air it out and come away with a win here, too.

I can't really go with your Quak Attak versus Tenn or Bama versus Penn State because I think these games are going to be lopsided wins for Oregon and Bama. But there is some meat in the SEC this week that's worth lookin' at closer.
Georgia versus South Carolina has slobberknocker special sauce written all over it. It's a coin flipper in my book this season even though the Dawgs have treated South Carolina like Tiger Woods at the Bunny Ranch 7 out of the previous 8 years.

I really, really, really want to take South Florida over the Florida Softies in the Swamp...I don't think the gators will have their offense figured out in a week. South Florida is supposedly a defensive team, but my low opinion of the Big East thus far keeps me away from this game as my Upset Shocker Pick of the Week.

I think Oklahoma took Utah State lightly, and wasn't prepared for that option play they did. Ryan Broyles(the best WR in the country) will have have a huge game like he always does. Oklahoma 35, Florida St. 31

i'm actually cheering for the ducks this season, we (pac 10) need a good bcs participant and i think they are the best ones for it.
SJSU must be getting a couple of nice paychecks. One from last week against Bama and one from this week against the Badgers.
