A decent, not great season for Man City.

It is going to be a very interesting Summer to see who they bring in. If they can bring in a couple solid defenders, and an another playmaker things will be looking good indeed.

I truly hope they continue to find and develop young players like Micah Richards, Stephen Ireland, and Daniel Sturridge.

If they do these two things I predict a top 4 finish within two years.

Could relegation mean that Newcastle keeps their team intact and loads up for an FA Cup run? They could be the darkhorse FA Cup winner next year if playing in the Championship means they get to pound on weak teams while the Prem teams beat on each other in between the FA Cup....just a thought.

I await the moment that Adebayor gets sent packing away from Arsenal....

Maybe Newcastle will end up like Leeds have in the past few years.They
will certenly have to get rid of a lot the players they have now.So if they
make it back then it will be with a bigger mix between experience and youth.
That of course will depend if the board get themselves sorted out because
having 9 managers over the last 4 years won't do them any good at all,if
they keep that attitude going.

As for Reading I don't think they'll be back to the Premier League in a
hurry.Whereas Watford you just never know But there is only one
Graham Taylor,and for Rodgers to get us promotion next season would
be a massive miracle.But one lives in hope. :thefinger

Anything can happen in the Championship(Most exciting league in the World).
Reading have a strong squad but it depends on who the new manager is.
Newcastle will be good if they keep the right players and get rid of the rest.
My pick for championship next season at the moment is Cardiff but it will most likely have changed by the start of the season.

As for Strachan leaving Celtic Park I hope they give the job to McGhee as it means he isn't coming to Pittodrie.

Well McGhee's got a good enough excuse to stay with the steelmen as they
were awarded a european place.That's 6 teams from the SPL in Europe now.

I hope they give the Sellik job to Father Jack Hackett.At least then we'd get

I think if Spurs could get him,he would be a good signing.But I think he
might go to either a La Liga or a Seria A team in the summer.

I doubt they'll have the money to pay for him. Seems like - if he does leave Utd - Liverpool and Man City are the front runners.

I think Man City will grab Tevez. If not them then Bayern or Inter probably. I don't think Liverpool have enough money, even if they dump Babel and Alonso. I think Liverpool paid $15mil for Babel but will be lucky to get $5 for him...he really flopped badly for them.
