The Colt's weren't undefeated going into that game though.
all the good afc teams are going to take heed from the Giants gameplan and get the personell to get at Tom Brady this offseason.
Right now the team closest to being able to do so is the Chargers but if anyone in the afc can get good pass rushing lineman or linebackers. The Patriots won't make the superbowl next season.
it's becoming clearer and clearer that to knock off teams that rely on pass offense (Colts/Patriots) to get them their wins. You need to get at the quarterback. That's what happens when Peyton loses, and that what the Giant's did tonight

I think the more interesting question is can the Giants repeat? I thought the Wackers/Saints/Cowboys/Redskins all seemed to be pretty close together...the NFC might be pretty tight next season....
i believe that if any AFC team can put together a group of players to be an effective pass rush like the Giants. The Patriots won't be in the Superbowl 43 unless they can actually stop it in 2009/10.
And the Chargers are the closest afc team to doing so. watch this offseason on the afc side and see where all the contenders go for their players
