Even more funny coming from Ron Rivera. This time last year, wasn't he the hot head coaching prospect for like a dozen teams? Now he's the linebackers coach for a Norv Turner lead team.

Rivera probably figured that he would be in a prime position once they realized just how much Turner sucks. They might go after somebody like Bill Cowher, but I have a feeling after this season there are going to be a lot of teams fighting for him. Plus Cowher probably wants a lot of control and Chargers GM A.J. Smith probably doesn't want to give that up. It's not like what Rivera said wasn't ture. They aren't going to bring Marty back no matter what, even if it was a bad idea letting him go.

ima give my "swami sez" impersonation a try... it'll be 5 games i'm intrigued by + MNF

SF vs STL: 24-21 Rams
HOU vs CAR: 28-21OT Panthers
INDY vs TENN: 35-20 Colts
OAK vs DEN: 21-16 *upset* OAK :thefinger
SD vs NE: 24-23 Pats :nanner:

mnf WASH vs PHILI: 27-0 Eagles :hatsoff:

Wow, keep your day job. lol.
SF beat STL 17-16
HOU beat CAR 34-21
INDY did beat TENN, but barely 22-20
DEN beat OAK 23-20 in OT
and the PATS destroyed SD 38-14

I hope you fail miserably in the MNF pick too, because I have McNabb going in my fantasy league.

btw I hope you saw that made OAK FG called back because of a last millisecond timeout, then the 2nd try hits the goal post. It was NUTS!

in my defense...
Oakland won the fucking game and were celebrating on the field only for the referee to change the result with a bullshit T.O. that nobody but 1 person *alledgedly* saw. fuck that.

Can we say upset? :D

It started out...

Both defenses like to blitz, so expect another low-scoring output for both offenses but for the Eagles to prevail at home.

It ended up...

Underdog Skins March Into Philly, Beat Eagles 20-12

Whats that I hear? Are they still taking names after kicking all that ass?

Sadly I don't see the Giants game next week going as well, just a feeling. Then again its a 'at home' so who knows. :dunno: After all the 'predictions' on the MNF though it does my heart good to see this upset. Believe it!!! *thinks of all the monies lost on that game *

Your fanhood must be inspiring them to do well this year, and next week they have a good chance because the Giants suck.

I don't know what's wrong with the Eagles. Their offense doesn't seem right. I wonder who’s going to win the NFC at this rate. Look at the teams in it that have won both of their games so far. :1orglaugh

0 & 2 for McNabb!!!!

I'm loving this so much!!

I'm sticking with something less harmful, like running back and forth across the interstate at rush hour, rather than watching the Chiefs this year. Watching them piss it down their leg every week, so I can hear Herm Edwards then talk about how we shouldn't panic and that everything's ok will be maddening.

Listening to a Herm Edwards press conference is the highlight of a lot of football fans' weeks. :D

back on topic. what happened to michael clayton?

oh god. i don't know but joey galloway has been awesome. I've only watched a few of the Bucs offensive drives and Clayton can't get open. Add that to Joey Galloways' play so far and...

The Bucs need to take advantage of this season and make the Playoffs. Their chances look real good
