All the defensive offside penalties were shocking. In one series alone they were offside 3 times!?!
It was insane. Ten penalties to two....it was garbage.

What about Orton? He was awesome in college and wasn't too terrible when he had to come in for Grossman.I would say that if they lose next week,start Orton for the rest of the season and see what you have with him and what you can build on for next season,but the Bears are idiot when it comes to stuff like that.

- Good defense next year potentially
We're not in that bad of shape except for QB. We can always get more receivers. And running backs are a dime a dozen. Just ask Indy.

Rex isn't the reason the Bears are losing. They just can't do anything during crunch time. All we do is drop passes and commit stupid penalties when we need a big play. Rex played well today. The Bears, as a team, did not.
Also, Orton isn't a good quarterback. He's not a terrible quarterback, but he is definitely not a good quarterback. When he started his 15 games back in '05 he only threw 9 touchdowns and didn't even make it to 2,000 yards. Plus, his completion percentage was a joke. What, 50-something percent?
Even though Kyle Orton has some sweet hair and a beard going this year, I'd still prefer Rex. Yeah, he's a little crazy behind the center, but at least he takes shots down the field, which, IMO, is what the Bears are lacking this year. Big plays.
The Bears need a solid running game in order for any quarterback to do well on their team. When we had Thomas Jones, he wasn't a magnificent running back by anyone's standards, but he made big plays when we needed them. Cedric Benson, even though he is slowly improving, isn't the answer right now...not to mention that he's hurt.
They need to get a proven fullback who can actually open holes and a running back who can do more than just bust out 1 or 2 "big" runs a game...we need consistency.
i'm not a bears fan, but in my opinion their problem is similar to the Ravens. Their defense is supposed to limit teams to anywhere between 14 & 17 points, then their offense should be able to maintain a lead. But all season they have had a shitty defense and nothing about their offense is capable of winning shootouts.
That about sums it up in a nutshell.
