I can't see the Vikings/Bears game. I heard Hester took one back though.

I don't know what the Bears would do without that guy.If he gets hurt them they are screwed.Oh and even though Hester ran one back and caught a t.d.,Peterson stole the show.He's the real f'n deal.
what happened to the "flex" scheduling?

Why is the Saints and Seahawks coming on tonight instead of the Pats and Cowboys. :confused:

It's too early in the season for flex scheduling.I think that it starts after week 8 or something.Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Dallas is starting to get their butts kicked. It's 38-27 NE and they are driving again.
Oh well.

I didn't think Dallas was strong enough.

Anyone know what the spread was?

New England 48. Dallas 27.

I cannot type that I am surprised. New England looks pretty amazing this year.

But at least the 'Boys were the first team to take the lead on NE in the second half this season.

the raiders just fucked off their Chance... they're not ready :(

and i was begging the raiders to take him first and stop listening to all the b.s. :(

didn't get a chance to watch too much today... GB had another good game though. Caught the last few mins of the Pats game. Good game there. I wanted to watch the entire thing... Who's playing tomorrow night?

2 nobodys
giants and falcons :sleep::sleep::sleep::sleep::sleep:

when it comes to the nfc, it's all about the Bucs and Cowboys and maaaaayyyybe the bears. maybe.

bucs = iaf sleeper pick

From what I saw, the Pats were favored by 4 or 4 1/2 points depending on the book.

GB had another good game though.

Eh. Several silly penalties for the Pack again. Plus Washington played like they had grease on their hands. Amazing how these pros get paid hundreds of thousands of dollars, yet so frequently drop simple passes, or fail to secure a ball they're carrying.

I think in today's game they like to look for receivers that are tall, strong, and can run fast to the point where actually catching the ball is a lesser concern than being a physical freak unlike years ago. Even at the high school level I've seen people that almost never dropped any passes that they reasonably should catch.

I also think the Bears are about another loss or two away from having their season be practically finished, especially if they are against division opponents. It's a good thing they won against Green Bay last week or they would really be done.

Looks like Young failed to break the Madden Curse this season. The Game takes another victim again.

Yes. Good point.
And I can't stand running backs who release the ball as soon as they think the play is dead. Damn man, hang onto that ball like grim death, because the other is a real bad habit to get into.

I guess that's what grinds me so much. When I played I prided myself on catching anything I could get even my fingertips on, and never fumbling. With the pros, those things don't seem to be as much the focus as they should be :dunno:

I've been wondering where Michael Turner will end up. He's definitly gone at the end of the year. He's to valuable for the Chargers to just let him go without getting something in return, right ? I was thinking trading him to Green Bay for WR James Jones or Greg Jennings, but now that SD traded for Chambers? :dunno:

Green Bay seems to have a shot at the (very weak) NFC but their running game is garbage.

Weird- did you notice how many times an all-out go route worked this past weekend? I wonder why more teams don't use that and at least test the defenses on it. :dunno: I mean, Devon Hester's pass from Griese near the end of that game was just beautiful.

I don't think it's just the backs that are making Green Bay running game terrible. I think the offensive line just needs to develop more. They have improved on passing protection this year they just need to go further.

I think that might be one of those things that work because it's not tried that often. If they defended more against it they are pretty easy to stop. Plus if something happens and the quarterback's protection breaks down even a little then there is no way the receiver can get back to be any kind of emergency outlet pass if a situation occurs where he gets flushed out of the pocket. I think the majority of long routes like that are more clearing routes to occupy defenders and open up space underneath than they are the primary read unless the other team makes a mistake. Some times if the offensive coaches notice some of the defenders cheating up or not giving the route their full attention they will adjust and have a tight end or another receiver fake and then try to run up past the defender or something similar.

:rofl: how many points will the patriots end up with:

Halfway through the 2nd quarter.
Pats 35 - 7 <-- :laugh:
