The best remake ever Dawn of the Dead (2004)
For me, Werner Herzog´s Nosferatu - Phantom der Nacht is the best remake ever. I would even say that it´s my alltime favourite vampire movie.

i will agree that phantom der nacht was amazing, especially for the time period in which it was released. the director didnt go overboard with colors or all of the typical tricks of that time...

Here is a movie that I watch each time it comes on, laughing the whole time.

One of the funniest horror movies I watched again was Evil Toons it had a couple of porn starletts in it, Madison Stone and Barbara Dare.

That looks like The Hills Have Eyes in Chernobyl.

Oren Peli is really pushing out the horror stuff. I think he has 5 movies coming out this year, plus his tv show The River.

ive been watching the river on dvr... and i still have no idea why. i hate that show.

That does look interesting. I'll have to check that out. It would be different if I hadn't learned about Chernobyl back in high school.

exactly. with a show of hands, im willing to bet that many of the people that go to see this dont have any idea what chernobyl is... the movie looks interesting enough, but i could see the first 10-15 minutes of it being a history lesson

The Ring (2002) with Naomi Watts, Martin Henderson, Brian Cox, and David Dorfman was pretty scary ...

Especially when she came out of the well and out of the televison set....

how have i not seen this?! i was laughing hysterically during the last 10 seconds of that :1orglaugh

It's a fake movie. It was one of the multiple fake movie trailers that were attached to the Grindhouse movie (Planet Terror & Death Proof). Two of the fake trailers ended up becoming movies on their own: Machete & Hobo With A Shotgun.

My FAVORITE one out of all the fake trailers was THANKSGIVING "White meat; dark meat; all will be carved."

Rob Zombie's new movie filmed up around where I live called Lords of Salem is going straight to DVD, either it was too violent for theaters or just plain sucks, not sure. Also I cannot wait to see Hatchet 3 and Laid To Rest 2.

I like The River. It isn't what I expected it to be, but it does hold my interest.

And yeah I know, a lot of people probably don't know what Chernobyl was. The movie doesn't look like it has much to do with Chernobyl itself, more like a made-up story with not a whole hell of a lot to do with what actually happened. But I might still watch it just because.

Yeah, after seeing that preview, I really want to see it. Looks like it could be a very good scary movie. Or a very bad but good scary movie. Either way, I'm down for it!
