I wasn't a huge fan of the ending, but I guess they went out of the norm and most people want a more standard type of ending. I enjoyed it. I don't get what was silly about it though (can't really say here due to spoilers). But remember the pictures and then the ending, it put them together. Tied it up
Two answers here. One is that a lot of found footage movies never say who found/edited the material (Paranormal Activity 3 and The Devil Inside, among others). In most cases you would assume the police department or investigators or what have you that are investigating the deaths/disappearances. The second answer is that part two may explain more as Ashley Bell is set to return.
Btw if you mean the ending itself doesn't make sense I can explain it if you'd like
I think that sounded a bit rude but it wasn't meant to be.
And The movie was great mostly due to, as I've said, Ashley Bell's (who I didn't know of before this movie) performance. She did her own contortions, she went from sweet and clueless to evil in the blink of an eye (believably), they never had to sound edit a demon voice, it was just like wow (yes, from watching it once I think she was possibly better than Linda Blair in
The Exorcist). I'll see what I think after I watch it again one day
