Boise, Fresno, TCU schools also get screwed because when an Ohio State schedules a home/home with them, the Big School always gets the first game at home and always scribbles an "escape" check instead of honoring the agreement with a return trip.

When has that even happened?

Boise likes to promote the myth that they will play anyone anywhere, but they turned down a 2fer 1 with Nebraska.

The only time in recent memory that a home and home was cancelled by Navy a couple of years ago. They came here but declined the return trip. (That was likley to played in Baltimore)

I really don't know who to feel bad for Va.Tech or Boise.Other than that is it me or has anyone else noticed how the 1-AA schools are holding their own against 1-A schools or is Ole Miss,Va.Tech, and Kansas that bad.But then again Kansas beat GT:dunno:Damn this makes my head hurt. But then again some of those 1-AA schools or FCS schools can hold their own against anyone.

There are allot of good football players out there..if you're an FCS school and you get enough of them and you have a good system...barring depth, it just comes down to 11 on 11 football.

The invent of the Spread Attack has leveled the playing field. I would also like to see statistics which show which recruits pan out versus which recruits don't even finish their careers. It seems in the last 10 years or so that Blue Chip recruits get distracted and don't pan out or don't finish their eligibility at the school they originally signed with. :dunno:

Good point when it comes down to it.It is still 11 on 11 :glugglug:

I never was a big fan of the Spread but it has grown on me over the years but I would till like to line up in the I-Formation and pound the crap out of a defense.Anyway add a running QB and the Wildcat Formation to the spread really does level the playing field

They won like three stright FCS National Title I would say they have done well.I'm just saying:dunno:

There's no way that Boise State deserves to be in the title game if they go undefeated. They'd need Fresno State and Nevada to have 10 win seasons, and a few of the 2nd tier teams to be decent in the WAC (as Idaho was last year).

And I don't wanna hear that I'm hating on small conferences. I'm actually a fan of the MWC and WAC. The WAC is just WAY too weak. But if Utah or TCU (or Air Force for that matter) go undefeated, I'll be backing them the way I was TCU last year. That conference is way tougher. There's a reason Boise State is going there. If Colorado State were in the WAC, they'd go 8-4. And they're pretty average. Idaho last year was a crappy team that barely won alot of its games, and went to a bowl cuz they were in the WAC. When they played the 3 good teams in the conference, they were schooled.

In fact if TCU were to go undefeated, their resume would annihilate Boise's (like it did last year going into the Fiesta Bowl). The Mountain West, you could argue, is as good as the ACC. And it's better than the Big East undoubtedly.

In fact, I think rather than giving automatic bids to the 6 conferences, why don't we just give 6 automatic bids to the 6 highest rated conference champions, regardless of conference? That makes perfect sense to me. And to compensate in the bowl tie ins, all first choice tie ins are non-binding; they can be awarded to any conference champions. So say TCU wins the MWC and makes the BCS, the Las Vegas bowl can take the crappy ass Big East champ in its place, unless said team would prefer to go the 2nd choice Big East bowl.

That sounds good, but the NCAA would not like it.It sounds too much like a playoff:dunno:

Like many people have wanted for years there is a very VERY easy and logical solution to the debate of whether somebody like Boise should get a chance to play for the national championship if they go undefeated. It's called a playoff with a tournament format. It’s just yet one more additional reason why it’s stupid not to have one. Any team that won would be forced to play and win four strait games at the end of the year against other teams considered best in the nation. Hardly anybody would have a legitimate reason to dispute the winner, and if you sent the top sixteen ranked teams the anger over a nearly topped ranked team not even getting a chance would almost disappear. The solution is just too right and logical for the the top division of NCAA football when money is concerned.

Once again sounds good but it is all about the money which is truly sad to me.I think and this is just m personal speaking we have all saw teams lose that was suppose to win.Va.Tech,Ole Miss,Kansas, and some others my point is the Boises of the world can beat anyone on any given day.Do I think Boise is better than some of the powerhouses.Yes I do not so much talent wise but they have a lot more heart as from playing two years ago Utah had no business beating Alabama (Sorry Smokin) but Utah played like no one said we would make it here.'Bama played like we are suppose to be here. You know the point I'm trying to make.Anyway I'm going off point here.It is a money thing like you said and until that ends and they do it for the kids this is the way it would be:crying:
