Pretty good game tonight. Game down to the last quarter. Josh Freeman is shaping up to be a clutch QB. Game could have gone the other way if not for him and LeGarrette Blount. Why the hell was Blount undrafted again?

something ive been hearing, from media commentators, not from teams or actual players is that teams like the Colts and Vikings should throw games away and get the first pick in hopes Andrew Luck comes out to draft him. Should teams bank on that? everyone thought he would come out last year, and theres no promise hes coming out this year.

Same here. Football is way too fucking long a game to be watching games where you have no rooting interest. College I watch a good share of games, but not NFL. Now soccer, the games are less than 2 hours, so I can enjoy a handful of games in a short amount of time.

The thing about that ordeal that troubled me was not the punch. It was how the pansy ass Boise State players failed to stand up for their teammate. They stood around and watched it happen, and no one retaliated nor at least got in Blount's face. If I were Hout, I'd be pissed. Pussies.
The Vikings just drafted Christian Ponder a young QB. they have other needs for instance a left tackle. The Colts expect Manning to play the next 3 years so i do not see them drafting a QB. The Kansas City Chiefs on the other hand should tank the season as Matt Cassel is not the long term answer.

The Colts won't take Luck. It would be a waste of a pick, considering other glaring needs. They need to do what Green Bay and New England did. They don't need a QB now, so take guy who's not ready yet, but his ceiling is limitless.

In his brief tenure as AFL Commissioner he encouraged owners to aggressively pursue NFL stars and also helped convince 3 NFL teams (Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Baltimore) to jump from the NFL to the upstart AFL which led to the merger.
Davis also successfully sued the NFL when they attempted to block the Raider's move from Oakland to LA, paving the way for other franchises to relocate. Then after moving the team back to Oakland he tried to sue the NFL again claiming the league didn't do enough to help the team secure a new stadium with luxury suites in the LA market.
