PETA Terrifies Children at McDonalds

Can you let me in on your secret for traveling to parallel universes? That would be really cool.

I don't want to waste my time and effort trying to change people's minds. I don't want to waste my time and effort trying to not change people's minds. I do however want to waste my time and effort for it's own sake, which is why I post on freeones.

I'm not sure what shocking attacks I am committing, other than posting reports by the FBI in response to someone claiming that PETA are murdering terrorists that need to be murdered and terrorized.

I'm not a PETA member, I don't have a cause. I just like the idea of truth in advertising.

Unless you belong to PETA the "you" I used was in reference to PETA agents not you.:2 cents:

PETA crossed the line when they took advantage of the fact that kids are easily suggestible. It's okay to protest the consumption of animals but their antics are similar to an organized religion which uses propoganda to force their beliefs down the throats of others.

Just Sayin'

As opposed to McDonalds using clowns, toys, playgrounds and "happy meals" to sell their products to children? It's not a one way street when it comes to propagandizing and taking advantage.

True, but they don't use negative advertising to scare children like PETA did. PETA members were distributing boxes pictures of a killer Ronald McDonald just to scare children into not buying their food. It's a cheap smear tactic. You don't see McDonalds depicting the burger king as a serial rapist or something. Also I don't ever remember McDonalds forcing people to buy their food.

I think that a some pint in time since 1988, the people in charge at PETA got the impression their plan to tell people how to live a better life in harmony with nature just did not kick into the next gear.

So, they went into pushing the cah into officially not related extremer groups like ALF (Hell, Alf must hate this pick of a name) and let them do the dirty work. All int the good spirit of outsourcing, as so many companies did over the nineties.

They still do some good, work, too, but if they don't stop helping those ALF guys with money NOT intented for those, I stand by my former point:

PETA is evil. Clean up your business, I will support you.

Burger King does that all by themselves :1orglaugh

There's a lot more than just business they need to clean up if they want to be legitimate.

That's kind of funny you should say that. Originally there was a group of environmentalists that decided to take a more aggressive stance (IE: destroying shit) in wilderness conservation. They called themselves the Earth Liberation Front- ELF. Which was apt because elves are naturalistic woodland creatures.

Because of them people who worked for animal rights adopted these same kinds of tactics and used the moniker Animal Liberation Front- ALF. Which doesn't really make any sense since Alf is an alien that loves to eat kittens.

The thing is that neither one of these groups really exist, that's part of the joke. A person will just set stuff on fire and then send out a letter saying that this group was behind it so that the government will spend all their time trying to research and infiltrate this supposed organization.

PETA is notorious for their shock value campaigns. Seriously, if they want to spread their message about animal cruelty to adults that's one thing. But to target children with this kind of tactic... Well, let's just say they've reached a new low.

The problem ...

The problem is that people don't separate the two:
- Cruelty to animals
- Eating animals at all

Some organizations honestly care about how livestock are treated. Other organizations like to confuse that with just hatred of anyone who eats animals.

I took an interest in animal rights when I was young. But it wasn't long before I realized my name was being used to push an agenda that was clearly outside anything I would agree to.

Good point PV. I also saw a thing the other day about PETA run shelters, which have a euthanasia rate astronomically higher than other shelters. Why? They think it's more "humane" to kill the dogs and cats quickly.

Bottom line, like with everything in the world, once something is pushed to the point of extremism and mindless dogma without thought, it sucks.

Here are a few reasons to mistrust Ronald McDonald:

1. He hits children.
2. He pays for hookers.
3. He makes out with women in public.
4. He looks at porn.
5. He's always copping a feel.

If you can't trust their mascot, how well can you trust the company?
