I decided to really think about a job I could have which would not make me miserable and want to be not alive. I think such a post would be as a journalist covering the NFL with the understanding that I am allowed to be an obnoxious idiot if Carolina is winning. I think I would be able to find enjoyment in that work. That would be really something.

Why can't there be ***** league football during the offseason? Like each team would have a second team in a smaller city within their market and they would play other smaller market teams in the offseason. On Sundays in July I could watch the Raleigh Vipers and compare the results of their games to a pregnancy termination procedure.
I also don't know why they picked the name Vipers. I told them opposing fans would call us "the wipers" but nobody listens to me.

The estate of former Seahawks owner Paul Allen has announced the sale of the team to 49ers limited partner Vinod Khosla.
The impending sale was first reported by Sportico then confirmed by ESPN before the team itself announced the move. Sportico and Schefter have reported an eye-watering sale price of $9.6 billion, shattering the Commanders’ previous NFL record and making the transaction one of the most expensive in the history of global sports. As NFL franchise values spiral ever upward, this probably won’t remain the record for long. Sitting pretty as Super Bowl champions with a 21st century largely spent winning, the Seahawks are a crown jewel asset, but things can always go haywire when those change hands. Khosla has a lot to live up to in the late Allen, who passed away in 2018. That, of course, is once the deal is formally approved by the NFL. That will reportedly take place in late August. A “tech billionaire” in the words of Sportico, Khosla is one of the co-founders of Sun Microsystems. The season is under way:
Sam Darnold suffered a hip injury early in Seattle's win over New England on Wednesday night. He is expected to miss some games but early indications are the injury is not as bad as it could have been.
The Rams were defeated by the 49ers at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Australia yesterday in what was an inauspicious start to the season for a team with Super Bowl ambitions. Aaron Donald un-retired and re-joined the team but did not make the trip to Australia.

[/td]Carolina played like a bunch of penises. That game was an abortion.
Young did look good though. Poised. He is no longer that deer in headlights, he carried himself like an NFL quarterback. It was good to see. Let's hope today's defensive performance was an aberration because if that unit can be decent the offense looked good today. On a related subject, we asked the Carolina Panthers defense to describe their tackling skills. Their response is below:
59 points. The Bears only punted the ball twice and on one of them the returner muffed the punt and Chicago recovered.
The entire NFC South lost today.
