NFL '20 Season Thread

.593 winning percentage, so far, across my annual 4 fantasy teams - lame - one of the more difficult years to manage that I can remember.

The NFL will still hold the Thursday night game - even with the San Fran roster looking like this..:

The Cowboys went diving and found a QB from the Browns' practice squad. And they plan on starting him today against the Steelers? Gilbert must have gained some inside knowledge while on the Browns.

Watch - he'll have a career game.

Nearly every team has shown itself to be vulnerable. Teams with long-time, quality depth are going to make it, KC, Pittsburgh, TB... there are some sleepers at this point, Philadelphia is finally getting its weapons on O back. Corona has casino'ed the sh*t out of these weeks, with guys getting yanked after a full week of practice, on Friday, for a positive. Totally breaking gameplans. Fun to watch, when it's not sloppy. Like butt sex.

Those with fantasy football teams - time to start checking forecasts of the stadiums where the games are to be played.. A couple of weeks GB had crap weather, and MIN RB Cook blew up. Well - GB again on 11/15 has crap weather. If you've got Aaron Jones, start him!!

We'll see if the dead can be resurrected: 0.000 winning percentage across your Presidential candidates. Lame (duck) is right.

With Dalton healthy at QB, and Zeke rounding into form, they're starting to show signs of life.
Their s&c coach died yesterday, and they're dedicating the game today to him, which has me concerned for my surging Football Teams.
Alas, turkey day has always been a bit of a rub to some American Indians. Turkey rub. Alas.

Anyone else looking forward to the Dog Show on NBC tonight? I was anticipating a nice football game this evening.

Baltimore keeps having positive COVID tests DAILY.. Sunday is probably iffy, at this point. Shame the game had to be moved; should be a good one - assuming no more roster / COVID impacts.

I think HOU will smash DET, in the early game. WAS @ DAL "could" be high scoring, if DAL's O/L holds up. If WAS QB can throw some TD passes, I think they win it.

I guess some of the Steelers are pretty burnt up about another covid-delayed game for them, Eric Ebron in particular. I heard someone say that another team might be adversely affected, but the Steelers will convince themselves to take it personally, and take it out on the league. That's plausible, I think, but I hope not. I hate the Steelers. They good, no doubt. Can't run much this year, but they good.
You may be right about Houston - the Lions are looking like they quit on the coach, and if that's the case, they'll be spectacular losers in a marquee game, to really give him the shove.

The Football Team got their reward for dropping their prior nickname.

Time to coax Tebow out of his football retirement. Or, run the wishbone.
The pride of Wake Forest football, 6 ft, 195 lb practice squad wide receiver Kendall Hinton will get the start for the Broncos, so maybe bet the Saints. 😄
Apparently, the NFL rejected the team's request to suit up one of two position coaches they would have preferred.
2020 is better than fiction.

It did not go well. 1/9, 13 yards, and 2 picks.

Hats off to the Browns for clinching their first non-losing season since 2007. (8 years short of the Pirates record-setting streak.)

Too funny. It seems like Patricia did not learn Belichick's 'tricks' very well.

It's too early to say but the Pittsburgh Steelers (11-0) have a shot at an undefeated season tying the Miami Dolphins 1972 record. Interesting though the Payton Manning Colts teams were 9-0, 10-0, 12-0 and they didn't do it. Let's see if Mike Tomlin's team can do this.
