Sure. And I will be cheering for the Japanese in ski jumping. Unfortunately there won't be any tears this year from retired Masahiko Harada, but they still have a strong team.

I know people are mocking it here, but I freaking LOVE curling. If you ever get a chance, try it. It is a surprising amount of fun.

Plus it is a "sport" you can play while drinking, and you don't get a lot worse as you drink!

I can't wait for it to start. USA USA USA. I think Team USa hockey will surprise people since they are not being given a chance at all.

Winter olympics is my favorite sporting event of all. It beats the Stanley Cup playoffs, the US Open (tennis and golf) and just bascially everything else.


BTW, if Tim Thomas plays superb, the gold will be coming south for the next 4 years. :thefinger

No kidding. I love it even more because they all know they're on TV, so they're trying to keep it professional.

How many times a day in your job do you get presented an athletes ass? I think open mouthed staring should be allowed in these situations.

Pretty much. I'm not questioning the legitimacy of all the sports in the Olympics, as they all require a great amount of skill and effort. Also, I respect what all the athletes do and applaud them for their dedication to their sport, but I just think it's funny how people can go 3 1/2 years without even thinking about bobsledding, or alpine skiing, or high dive, or badminton and then get all geeked about the Olympics like they are die hard fans.
