Well then it wasn't his fault and he should have the right to file a complaint. I don't think anything can really be done, now that they have given out the medals, but given how dominant he was over the guy who "won", that's bullshit.
They showed his reaction on CTV. I would have stabbed the coach in the eyes with those sunglasses.

Czechs beat Latvia 3-2 in overtime. I'm dissapointed; Latvia outplayed the Czechs for the majority of the game and they deserved to win that one.
Man the Norwegians were all over Chara. There was almost a brawl a few times in that game. Chara is the kind of player I would always like to go after because I couldn't stand goons, me being only like 5'9", 180. Chara is always getting that in the NHL as well. The teams almost didn't even shake hands. Norway played a superb game though. They should have won just like Latvia. The top eight seeds make it into the quarters now just like everyone thought.
So the concensus now among you Canucks is that Brodeur is washed up?
All I said was Luongo would be playing and Canada would win. Brodeur definitely isn't washed up, but he lost his chance to back up his team. Bad time to have a bad game.
Russia is going to get it tonight. 4-2 Canada.
If Russia plays physical they could win. I'd love to see numerous bone crushing checks tonight. My favorite part of the game.

Only way Canada and the US would play again is if they both make it to the Gold Medal game.
The US should easily make it to the final. Sweden, Russia, and Canada are all in another bracket. The US just has to beat Switzerland and either the Czechs or Fins, while any of the other three have to go through each other.
Fucking...un...believable. The America vs Swiss game is a nail biter. The fact that goal didn't cross the line in time...wow.
Best hockey anyone could ever watch. And these hockey games have reaffirmed that this is my ultimate favorite sporting event. Beats everything. It even beats the World Cup, NFL playoffs, March Madness, and even Stanley Cup playoffs. :bowdown:

That was one of the closest calls I've ever seen in the history of sports.
I don't think this Swiss team is over rated. I know you hate the Canadian team, but they struggled with them too. I think Net-minding is the difference in this game. That Hiller is a fucking beast! :thumbsup to him, and to the Swiss penalty killing.

Whoops, I did in fact mean underrated. I just haven't slept in a few days trying to get a paper on African perspectives on European colonialism done, and moreover, trying to watch the ultimate tournmant. :o
That Swiss team is hella good. The scouts in the crowd had some tallent there to drool over. And the Ducks just signed Hiller to a 4 year, 16 million deal. Good God that goalier almost stole the show. :bowdown:
The reffing has been bad all tournament if you ask me. And the call against USA in front of the net when they scored was complete BS, so I think it evened out. US is taking hardware home one way or the other now though I suspect. Ryan Miller is still the MVP of the tournament if you ask me, even though the US team blocked 25 shots today. :hatsoff:
Assuming they beat the next team - which definitely possible - I would not count US out for the gold, not by a long shot. Good goaltending and one game is all the need to win.
