2009/2010 WORLD Football (EPL, Serie A, La Liga, Bundesliga, etc)

Boss Wenger has come out defending Eduardo. I can understand the Boss defending his player, but c'mon, Boss, have you seen how EASY :)thefinger) our Group Draw is!! We can sit Eduardo and still win the group!

I would want this issue to die down quickly...especially since I want my squad focused on going into Old Trafford and slappin' the red devils around this weekend!!

It's the double standards that pi$$es me off...

As the following article states, if Eduardo is going to be charged (and possibly punished) by Uefa for his actions, then this cannot be a one-off!

Uefa is right to charge Eduardo - but they must now punish every diver in European football

And as for our British press: so what happens if an England player employs similar theatrics against Croatia in the next WC qualifier and gets the winner to send England to the finals in 2010?

Answer: cue a deafening silence, that what....

Alright peeps....what's the word with Arsenal v Manchester United thus far...

:nanner:FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE AGAIN:nanner:

The Fox Soccer analysts here don't think Fergie will bring in Berbatov because that would mean Fergie would be admitting he's wrong from the getgo:rolleyes:

Huh? Not sure I understand that thinking...

Arsenal are playing well...but RvP seems lost out there a bit.

What about ManU...do they make 3 changes right off the bat?? Giggs is probably coming out...I suspect.

England has a great shot at the Cup in South Africa, I was looking at their squad today and just impressed (its more like an EPL Allstar team)... tell me who beats this lineup

G Robert Green

D Ashley Cole
D Glen Johnson
D John Terry(c)
D Rio Ferdinand

M Gareth Barry
M Steven Gerrard
M Frank Lampard
M Aaron Lennon

F Jermain Defoe
F Wayne Rooney

Notable Subs: Matthew Upson(D), Joleon Lescott (D), Shaun Wright-Phillips (M), Joe Cole (M), Ashley Young (M), Theo Walcott (M or F), Gabriel Agbonlahor (F)

Fabio Capello has them scoring more goal per match then ever before!!!

:sing: Oooo Say can you See...By the Dawn's early light...:sing:

It's a long time before Summer 2010 arrives...England opened a can of whoopass today, but we'll see what happens....

Is somewhere outhere.
The big question for me,will be whether England will last the pace when
next summer comes. With regards to the long season that most of these
players will have.

The only compensation for them will be that in South Africa it should be
winter so at least they won't blame the heat for screwing it up.

I think the World Cup could be like a home tournament for the Dutch so
I would expect them to go far.But I don't think they will win it though.I
think the way we got in around them at Hampden, proved that if other
teams with more quality do the same thing,I think they will be in trouble.

But i'm looking forward to it already :thefinger

What the hell happened today at Man City? The score line says it was a Man City crush of my Goons. ESPN Soccernet seems to suggest Arsenal let another road game slip away. I guess Adebayor went off and even took out Van Persie? Those 2 have hated each other and Bendtner and Adebayor had a big dustup last year. Adebayor wasn't the greatest teammate around...

Is Man City a legit threat to the Big 4?

Arsenal didn't have Arshavin today....his presence would've made a difference for sure. I didn't see today's game though...did anyone watch it?

It is a great time to be a City fan! They outplayed Arsenal the frst half, after Arsenal scored they were threatining to score again, when scored on the counter attack. City got two more good goals, before they let on defense and Arsenal scored to make it 4 to 2. Arsenal should have had at least one more, but so should have City.

BAYERN!!! BAYERN!!! BAYERN!!!

In München gibt's nur ein'n Verein, FC Bayern! In München gibt's nur ein'n Verein, FC Bayern!

MÜNCHEN REGIERT!
