Top Games:

New England at Miami: The highly-contested AFC East battle continues. Can the 'Fins keep up their Cinderella string? Or will the Pats derail their hopes? Both teams are 6-4 and trailing leader New York. Both clubs have scarily similar stats. But Miami is the one on a roll. If the bent-noses taught me anything, you NEVER bet against a streak. Besides...do you really think New England can stop the Wildcat this time with a 12th rated defense? I guess stranger things have happened. This year, though, the Dolphins have confidence. And Parcells. Guess who he used to coach for?
New York Jets at Tennessee: With both King and Hill out at CB the Titans rushed to sign practice squad players to fill in the gaps. Too late. I like the Titans, and everybody cheers for a perfect season. But here is where the choo-choo train ends. Collins is good but Tenn relies on the run. New York doesn't have a stellar run defense, but that ain't their forte anyway. Run up enough points to make it a foot race, and the Titans have to score more. That ain't THEIR forte.
Philadelphia at Baltimore: Still reeling from the Pittsburgh debacle, can Harbaugh expect his defense to rise to the occasion? It's pass versus run here with two of the best defenses in the league. But Harbaugh was the special teams coach for the Eagles. Make a difference? Could. But then Phily is used to playing tough defenses in their division. Plus they're fighting for a playoff spot.
Carolina at Atlanta: You're gonna see a lot of running. Then when that stops working for Atlanta, you'll see some passing. On the other hand, the untested Panthers have the hell part of their schedule ahead, starting today. They need this win to gather momentum for the likes of the Giants and the Packers--two of their road games. I don't know...but I can't see the Falcons losing two home games in a row. And Carolina's road performances haven't captured the imagination.
NY Giants at Arizona: This is the one I don't wanna miss. I love watching Warner's comeback season. But his stats vs. the Giants ain't too good. Plus the rest of his division sucks. Maybe he could take it on the chin just this one week...of course, he's still facing road games in New England and Philadelphia. Can the Cards stop New York's rushing game? I don't know. But the team problems with Edgerrin James aren't helping morale.

Great write up Maildude but 1 thing you say Philly are fighting for a playoff spot? surely its far to late even if they do win- Washington/Dallas in their div alone will be above them and fighting for it

Another good game could be the late one tonight Colts/Chargers should be all about the offense and a lotta points scored

It's gotta thrill the Chargers that Sanders is out. :D

Jets with the early lead. Philly is struggling in Baltimore. *SIDE NOTE* In my above long post I incorrectly said that the Ravens had played the Steelers last week. No. It was the Giants. My mistake. I guess I have Steelers-On-The-Brain.

The Eagles make me fucking cry.:crying: Too talented to fall apart like that. Benching McNabb at the half. Their season is over. Meanwhile the Giants look unstoppable. Atlanta looks good. Dallas is apparently coming back. Folks in New England by now are saying "Tom who??" The AFC East rules that conference. Jets v. Pats in the Championship game?

Once again I agree can it has been one hell of a day in the NFL and we really see how good the Titans are and what the hell is up with the AFC West.I'm a Denver fan but one weak they play great and the next they look like crap 31-10 to the Raiders. I mean what the !@#$.:mad:

Denver has no defense and an inconsistent offense. I wonder how good Cutler could really be with an offensive line and a reliable running back.

Amazing what happened with Donovan, and apparently Andy reid said after the match he doesnt have a clue which QB to start with for week 13- holy shit Eagles are in a hole

And everyone will write of the Titans now they lost- i still say its between the Steelers and the Giants the rest are miles behind

It was another crushing lose for the Lions, and they have one of the hardest schedules the rest of the season. As somebody that doesn't like the Lions it makes my heart feel warm and fuzzy.

I am still laughing at maildude's use of "bent noses" above. Hilarious.

Is Matt Cassel not the luckiest bastard on the planet? He will be getting laid and paid like a Sultan. I think the Pats have to try to sign him to a longterm deal. He's too valuable. But I bet 10 teams will be making him MEGAOFFERS in the offseason....

Meanwhile the Giants look unstoppable.

You think? I didn't see an unstoppable team today. The Cardinals put up a good game and kept it close. In all honesty, the Giants haven't impressed me all that much this year. Yes, they are probably the best team in the NFL, but far from unstoppable.

Also, CLEVELAND BROWNS, ASS KICKING...enough said. :1orglaugh

Dallas is apparently coming back.

Personally, I wouldn't jump to that conclusion just yet. I mean, they beat the 49ers and, well...they're the...forty...niners. :dunno:

Yeah, Cassel is playing like Brady right now. I bet he'll be gone after the season and get a lucrative offer from other team, being that there are many teams in need of a QB and Pats have Brady coming back so Cassel will sit again if he returns. I am just surprised that the Pats have found a way to turn him into a really good QB.

McNabb getting benched!!! Hahahahahaha........I love it!! :glugglug: :glugglug:

Apparently its a 50-50 if he will start next game, Donovan defiently lacking confidence this year but its not just his fault their running game has been terrible lately

Should be a very high scoring match tonight, i think the Saints will prevail

So many teams need a decent QB to, no doubt the Eagles will be looking around to name just 1 team out of many
