Let's just call it a season right now. The Super Bowl should be The New York Giants vs The Tennessee Titans. These are the 2 best teams...by far. This could be A HELL OF A SUPER BOWL....

I know the Steelers lost today but imo they have the best defence in the NFL they could win it

The Steelers have the 3rd best. Tennessee-1, NYGiants-2, Steelers-3, Ravens-4.

The Steelers are a legit threat to Tennessee.

How awfull was that playcalling from san francisco, why not spike the ball they had 4 secs left, then they could of arranged their offence so much more
And to run it up the middle is so obvious

Looking at their records, I would agree that the Giants and the Titans are the 2 best teams. But, personally, I wouldn't say "by far" for either of them.

The Titans struggled with Jacksonville, Baltimore and a Rex Grossmanized Chicago Bears football team. Also, Green Bay took them into OT. Yes, they are undefeated, but I don't think their record shows their true colors.

The Giants struggled with Washington, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and CINCINNATI, who took them to OT. Also, the CLEVELAND BROWNS made them look like a high school football team when they got their asses handed to them.

Both teams are good and they have the best records, but I think they'll fall in the 2nd half of the season. Obviously, anything can happen and they can end up winning every game for the rest of the year...who knows?

Titans: Strong defense, ball control offense. They can pass if they have to, even with Collins a little dinged up. Right, Bears? OC Mike Heimerdinger gets the most out of his players he can. Remaining schedule includes four road games, but only one of those teams is above .500. If they squeeze past the Jets in two weeks the rest could be fairly easy until their game in Indy. Healthy players is the key. Sorry Steelers. By the time you get to Tennessee you're likely gonna be too banged up. You guys have NE and Baltimore on the road before that. Plus--sorry again--your record against winning teams ain't too good. You're 6-3 during the easy part of your schedule. Sure you had to play NY and Philly. And you lost both of them, the Giants being in Pittsburgh.

New England/ New york Jets tonight- could be a close match, Jets played very well last week but they were playing a shit team, New England i'm not convinced with this year, dont seem to be getting the ball to Moss there best reciever and they are there for the taking

Depends a lot on how Favre performs. Give him a Geritol fizz and he might be sharp. Moss doesn't fit well into the offensive schemes Favre is used to. Which team plays better in the rain? LB Dave Harris is still out for the Jets which might have an impact on a game that will likely feature more rushing. But a rushing game could favor the Jets--and maybe Ty Law's arrival could give a psychological boost to Lowery whose job he's eyeing. Cassell won the first meeting which was his first game ever against the Jets. Can he repeat that? If it becomes a sloppy night, edge to Jets. If it stays relatively dry and pass-friendly, edge to Pats. Close game. Less than seven points spread.

Moss nearly saved the day for the Pats, but Jets win it in O/T

OK. We're off. The Giants score early on a Brandon James TD. Ravens D is looking a little weak against the run. Denver takes the early lead over Atlanta with a Peyton Hills rush for 7 yards and the TD. And...hold the presses...the Lions lead the Panthers 7-0!!! :partysml:

That's how it ended. OK, but does it increase or decrease they playoff chances?

Like the announcers said

"Its better then a lose, but not as good as a win"

As for the Eagles it dosent really affect them because its going to the division record if there is a tie. They are currently 0-3 in the division.

I dont think the Bengals are going to make the playoffs.

The Titans stay undefeated. Jags had the early lead but blew it thanks to a career day by WR Justin Gage of Tennessee. The Titans were three deep in the CB position with Chris Carr who had a late game INT. This team has some depth.

Big win for the Boys today.

Looked a little flat coming out but picked it up in the second half and Barber just put the punished the Skins in the fourth quarter.

The mighty Lions just get another gut-wrenching loss. :1orglaugh

Yeah. Did you see Marinelli after the game? Man was he ever defensive. I know what he's thinking: I wonder what the job market is like.

Who knows, maybe he would really be better with players off the street. :1orglaugh What makes all the more sad is the fact in the last couple of games the Lions had the lead a good ways into the games and still managed to loose them all.
