I dont think the Pats will get to the superbowl this year- theres stronger teams out there and Cassel is good but he aint that good, he will be found out soon, he was terrible the first few games now he has had 2 good matches and everyone calling him the new Brady! he wont do what he did last week on a regurlar basis, the best thing about him and what i do rate is the way he can scramble and run with the ball, but as far as passing he is nowhere near as good as Brady

I know I was just saying that if, in fact, that does happen then the Pats will have a decision to make if not then you have to go with Brady.

Sorry, yes i see what you mean, it would be a tough decision because it makes Cassel look better than he really is

:1orglaugh No sane person with a memory span longer than 5 minutes would ever want Cassel instead of Brady. Brady is an elite hall of fame bound quarterback near his prime, and one of the best players in the league who was the obvious MVP last year and broke the TD record. He has performed good for about 7 years now. Cassel is a decent backup that has had a few good games. New England is also the type of team that would never pay the price for both of them if Cassel is about to get big money. They aren't the type of team to blindly throw money around.

Thats a good point m8 but i like him a lot, sure he has good recievers in the likes of Moore and Colsten, but you have to give him credit for his accuracy with his throwing

I do think he's a pretty decent quarterback. He's got a good arm and he has pretty good accuracy. I just think that the Saints have the offensive play calling that benefits Drew Brees more than any other quarterback on any other team in the league.

Just look at the Falcons and Matt Ryan. Matt Ryan landed himself into a perfect situation as well. The team he plays on has the perfect play calling scheme and perfect offensive weapons for him, which do nothing but make Matt Ryan look like one of the best quarterbacks in the league...which is not the case at all. Their offensive scheme makes it so the quarterback doesn't have to be a Pro Bowl caliber type of player. They can put almost anyone back there and they will look good, statistically.

:2 cents:

I could also say the same thing about Kyle Orton and the Bears.

I think the success of Matt Cassel is very interesting. It shows just how good the offensive line of the Patriots is and what quality targets Cassel has to throw to. Now Tom Brady is a great quarterback and would succeed with most any team, but he owes a lot of his "legendary-type" status to the offensive weaponry that has been provided to him in New England.

Don't forget...Bardy walked into the same situation as Cassel when Drew Bledsoe got hurt. I'm not saying Cassel is Brady, but their situations are quite similar.

The NFL is in jeopardy, between coming and going with trades and teams not living up to their coaches expectations. The remaining season will be on hold. There surely is no Ifs and or buts in football. What happens when a teams makes it to the playoffs with chance to go all the way. They usually don't see the NFC championship. Well, I'm for the Redskins, but statistics show a new horizon in the West. The Arizona Cardinals have my attention from last season. People say oh, well that's gay, because they are the one's who are caught in the act of calling the wrong teams. I say Cardinals and Skins. But that probably won't happen since both teams have such a Outstanding Since of Humor.

Browns fans: Brady Quinn is out for the rest of the season. You'll just have to endure Derek Anderson. Sorry.

Yeah i see exactly where your coming from

Huge match for Donovan tonight and the Eagles, should be a good one to watch

This game could save grace for the Eagles and give them a sense of redemption. But it won't. Arizona is coming off a loss to NY. They need to win to keep the momentum. Philly needs to stop Warner and they can't. That's the key: AZ has no run offense. I like the Eagles and I hope they make it a game. Arizona: 31 Philadelphia: 17
On the other hand, AZ clinches the division with a win tonight...on the road. What's their motivation in winning here? Might be interesting...

It's a good thing that the Lions play in a dome, because it is raining shit all over their franchise, and if they didn't have a roof above their heads then this game would be very hard to play.

Detroit have to be the worst side ive ever seen defending the run, i'm sure you guys can think of other teams over the years, but obviously myself being from England,uk, only ni recent years we get live NFL. Detroit have nothing on offense or defense

I dont think they will win 1 game all season

Thank god Detroit is the home of motown, cause they certainly aint that good at football#
