The secret ingredient? MY BALLS
Actually, go check your facts because they normally invite 4 to the ceremony. Sometimes they will invite 5 and go as high as 6, while they can obviously go as low as 3, but majority of the time they invite 4 players.

And Texas did not get screwed. What every fucking person on the planet seems to forget is that Texas Tech beat Texas. So if a tie break went to Texas over Oaklohoma, then why dosent Texas Tech win the tie break over Texas?

Explain that one...

My point is that the Heisman committee determines who gets invited....they make the rules. Harrell evidently didn't receive enough votes to be considered an invitee. I personally like Harrell and whether he got screwed in the voting is certainly a matter for debate. I think that he (and probably McCoy will also) got screwed by the fact that Tech didn't get any post season opportunity to showcase himself. My guess is the vote will go Tebow, Bradford, McCoy.

As far as your comments about Texas not getting screwed.....I obviously disagree. I do believe Tech also got screwed (as did a number of other schools) but (again, by the BCS in addition to the Big 12), not being a Tech fan, it's not my place to lobby for them. You've got a case to make for sure. Too bad there isn't a way to settle it on the field.

the big 12 3 way tie breaker is stupid
i think it should have something to do with a margin of victory tie breaker maybe?
idk but theres gotta be a better way to break a 3 way tie

I'm thinking it's Tebow again. His most recent performance was right before the vote so I'm sure it had an influence. Besides, McCoy has been out-of-sight for several weeks as Tebow and Bradford continued to light things up. All three (plus Harrell for that matter) are deserving. What a year for Big 12 QBs! (especially considering that Chase Daniel was the early favorite to win until Missouri got trounced by Texas and Oklahoma St.).

Prediction: Colt McCoy wins Heisman. He deserves it.

And he has the sympathetic vote. Still Bradford is the frontrunner. But Tebow IS a senior, and some folks like new records--records like two Heisman's in a row. :D

I thought Timmy Teabag was a Junior??

I agree, Colt should win it. He carried the UT offense all year.

Yea, but the only thing is that Bradford can't go pro as a sophmore. You have to be a junior to go pro or do what Maurice Claurette did. lol

as a redshirt sophomore he can go
which is how Larry Fitzgerald went to the NFL i believe
and why Knowshon Moreno and LeSean McCoy are both NFL Draft eligible

Actually I think the criteria is that you have to be out of high school at least two years. (Unless I'm wrong.:D) That doesn’t' necessarily mean you have to be a junior. :dunno:

Colt McCoy went head-to-head with Sam Bradford and won. Bradford is out. McCoy "lost" to Teabag Tech when they were ranked....#5 in the nation? Timmy Teabag lost to an unranked, unremarkable 'Ol Miss Teabag team.

McCoy's loss is "more impressive" than Timmy Teabag's loss...basically.

I do think Sam Bradford will be a pretty solid NFL QB. I don't think Colt McCoy will even be drafted high(which is why he announced he's returning so soon). Tim Tebow is the real question mark. I think someone will take a flyer on him as a QB, but maybe his ultimate NFL position will be as TE/QB specialist? Some sort of hybrid pro player....

I think Colt McCoy performed the best and was the most consistent all year basically....

Its out of high school 3 years.

I am afraid the solid south will deliver the award to tebow. I think colt deserves it though.

Wow....it's Bradford. I'm really surprised....not because he didn't deserve it but more for the fact that he's just a sophomore and the other 2 candidates were so worthy.

Oh well, maybe it's Oklahoma's year all around. Congats, Sam. You had an awesome year.
