Mr. Trendy! How in the world can you say that Ohio State is the most overrated team ever? Care to pick some stats or some solid evidence beside the last two years? I give you last year, but 2006 was a solid season that ended on a bad note. This is purely your opinion with nothing to back it up.

Top 25 every year since 1938, except 3.
5 National Championships
28-4 Record against the Big 12
50-23 record against the Pac 10
43-10 Record against the Big East
14-7 record against the ACC
#5 in all time wins in I-A History 798-303
#3 in all time winning % in 1-A History
#7 in all time ranking (Total points, win %, schedule points, Nat. Champ points)

you left out their record vs. the SEC....why? bc the SEC owns them

Oh yes, Georgia and the wildly inconsistent Matt Stafford(who is sliding down the draft board because of it). Georgia might have some cred because of the NFL talent, but I cant take them serious when they get shutout in the first half against Alabama 30-0 and then nearly lose to a very bad Auburn team 17-13. They also have a lot of problems in the offensive line.

Its just that the SEC has no quality quarterbacks not named Tim Tebow. The kind of quarterback thats going to lead his team to victory and not rely on thier defense to bail them out. The kind of qb that makes plays to keep the drive alive.

John Parker Wilson is not too bad a QB, he is compared to Manning in Crimson Lore.

Tebow Career 6,159 yards 65 TD's
Parker Career 7,747 yards 46 TD's

He is not the complete package college football wise like Tebow.

I have not seen Stafford drop that bad, since he plays in a pro-style like Ryan last year and still has the stats and intangibles the NFL likes.

Bradford is really on the rise after this season; 6-4 at 214 is ideal.

Not true... most Bama fans I know (including myself) are ready for him to graduate. JPW is solid, but he's not Tebow, not by a long shot! He can manage a game, but he hasn't "won" a bunch with his arm.

Stafford is a great NFL prospect, really strong arm and nice size.

That kid Snead at Ole Miss is really good and has a bright future.

Hey, CunningStunts.. Long time man. What did you think about the game?

Man,

How was Grahm Harrel not invited to the Heisman ceramony? His numbers are just as good as Bradfords. I really feel bad for the kid because there is some serious bullshit going on in the NCAA College Football.

Answer: They beat a team who sucked, but just so happened to have a #1 ranking at the time.

This year, when Ohio State played Wisconsin, Wisconsin was ranked #18 in the country (I believe), but they finished the year 7-5, unranked. Now, did they really beat a good #18 ranked team or a mediocre 7-5 team? That's right...they beat a mediocre 7-5 team.

Watch out. That reasoning could be applied to a LOT of teams.

How come the division 2, 3 and NAIA schools find a way to make time and to provide for the logistics involved to facilitate a playoff? No offense, but your argument doesn't hold water.

Incorporate the existing bowl structure into an 8-team playoff. How much better would it be to actually have these games mean something??

It could easily work like this (or something similar):

Round 1 (4 games)

Gator Bowl
Citrus Bowl
Cotton Bowl
Fiesta Bowl

Round 2 (2 games)

Sugar Bowl
Orange Bowl

Championship (1 game)

Rose Bowl

I couldn’t disagree more. Hell, LSU and USC already play home bowl games. Why should all the playoff games be help in SEC country?

How about seeing some of those southern teams play up North for a game?

Like where? Where up north would be a good place to have a bcs bowl game?

Yea, I agree. Then have the championship game at a neutral site.

Because he obviously finished 4th in the voting and they only invite the top 3 guys. I do agree that he is very deserving of consideration....he just got caught up in a year with some other very outstanding candidates.

If it's any consolation to him the Heisman has been a pretty meaningless award for some time now.

The bowl games chosen for the playoff aren't important. It's the playoff itself that counts. Hell, have the fucking Motor City Bowl for the championship for all I care.
