Sadly, there won't be any more "Fitzmagic" for a good two months. "Hip subluxation" sounds painful.. // "A traumatic hip dislocation occurs when the head of the thighbone (femur) is ****** out of its socket in the hip bone (pelvis)."
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Ryan Fitzpatrick (hip) is expected to miss six to eight weeks.
Fitzpatrick suffered a hip subluxation after getting slammed by a Chargers defensive lineman in Week 1. Washington head coach Ron Rivera has already made it clear that the team does not plan on signing a quarterback. That means Taylor Heinicke will draw the start for their Week 2 matchup against the Giants. Heinicke has an erratic arm but contributes on the ground. He has 12 career carries for 72 yards. His rushing output makes him a viable streaming option in Superflex leagues.
