NFL '11 Season Thread

If the Lions make the playoffs as one of the wildcards, theyd better thank Jay Cutler for it, his inaction is the reason they are in the position they are now.
Did not ever think the Chiefs would be the team that beats Green Bay if they were going to lose.
the Broncos have no intention of making things easy on anyone for some reason. Than again the Patriots inability to stop the is the reason i felt they could lose that game.

I hope they lose the 2 and seattle makes the playoffs.. But all that matters to me is that megatron gets 20 touchdowns on christmas eve.. :D

Sometimes I wonder how scarily good Calvin Johnson would be if he played for a better offense with a better quarterback. He's starting to have the "Randy Moss Effect" a lot where he pulls up a QB and offense to make them look more decent.

Luckily he's finally starting to get some help... When I think about guys that could have been scary good, one pops up into my mind.. Steven Jackson, one of the best runningbacks to play the game, but has the one of the worse offensive lines ever...

tebow is better than anything denver has had in awhile...you cant turn the ball over twice and spot tom brady 14 points..if a running team is going to beat a passing team..no mistakes is a must!and the way i see it denvers defense didnt do much to stop bradys air attack..he took them apart..tebow cant do nothing about that..hes one man playing on one side of the ball...and hes the oNly reason they won six in a row..he cant control the whole team:wave:

Yeah, but you can't wait until the 4th quarter when the entire defense is tired to suddenly score points.. Espically against New England

Batch is actually a decent backup. He's played good when he's had to. Apparently the coaching staff left it up to Big Ben, and he chose to play.

And i don't think dixon is to bad either.. Funny how a ton of teams have shitty backup's, but the steelers have 2 good ones..

The Bears are a joke. The shit they are peddling out of Halas Hall is unbelievable. You mean to tell me the best we can do is Caleb fucking Hanie? He fucking sucks.

Didn't you guys draft somebody in the draft? I mean, might as well try to see if you can pull a T.J Yates.. No point of starting a guy who throws at least 2 picks every game

They are really good.. If they can just keep up the running game, they're scary

Darren Sproles was definately the difference maker in their running game this year, no doubt, that little fucker can fly, been watching him since HS. He went to Olathe North which was a 5A powerhouse, All-State and dude is only 5'6? He's hard to bring down too, never seen such a tiny player who was that badass:clap: I'm glad my HS was 4A, we wouldnt have been state champs because I played when he played lol

Yeah, Nathan Enderle. He's the third string QB so that means he doesn't get any reps in practice, he just observes. He wasn't drafted with the intention of him succeeding Cutler. He simply isn't ready to start an NFL game.

Tell me about it. He is probably the best free agent acquisition this year. I always liked him when he was out at San Diego. Talk about a dangerous weapon being acquired by an already dangerous team. This guy is everything that everyone hoped Reggie Bush would have been, but minus the drama.

The Chargers are fucking morons for letting him go, and their fans wonder why they've never won a SB?

Ravendude wins week 15 going 10/16. We all pretty much shit the bed this week. Lots of upsets.

Week 16 picks. Anquan Boldem!!

Brees will break Marino's record this week.

LOL, I'm hoping the Purple Penis Eaters lose at this point. If you see a "fan" in the HHH Dome on the 1st wearing a brown bag over his head, it is me. :anonymous

Houston @ Indianapolis <-- the guy I'm facing has arian foster, please indianapolis, just stop foster..

Miami @ New England <-- upset! the dolphins almost beat them the first time, and they sucked back then..

Jacksonville @ Tennessee <-- Titans should start Jake Locker, Hasselbeck is pretty much done now..

Tampa Bay @ Carolina <-- To quote the great Deion Sanders.. "Caaaaaaam!"

Cleveland @ Baltimore <-- I'm going to give lewis a brake for last week, but they're better be improvement this week

Arizona @ Cincinnati <-- John Skelton, all he does is win...

Minnesota @ Washington <-- This is a tough one, but Washington isn't good enough to win two in a row..

Denver @ Buffalo <-- a run heavy team against the bills??? Sucks to be a bills fan..

St Louis @ Pittsburgh <-- The pittsburgh defense is going to kill the rams..

Oakland @ Kansas City<-- yeah, so mcfadden never came back.. That hurt my team, but not nearly as much as it hurt oakland

New York Giants @ New York Jets <-- Okay Rex, let's get it clear, the jets are not better than the giants..

San Diego@ Detroit <-- san diego is scary as shit... Denver, I need you to win the division..

Philadelphia @ Dallas <-- God, I really want to see an 8-8 team make the playoffs this year.. It's a Dream!

San Francisco @ Seattle <-- Lynch is going to end that 'No rushing touchdown' streak

Chicago @ Green Bay <-- when you're 13-1 and facing Josh Mccown, you really don't have anything to worry about

Atlanta @ New Orleans <-- The saints and chargers.. Two teams I hope the ravens never have to play in the playoffs/superbowl

Miami @ New England <-- upset! the dolphins almost beat them the first time, and they sucked back then.

Not sure how the the Dolphins almost beat them. After the Dolphins tied it up early in the 3rd quarter, the Pats took the lead and did nothing but extend it the rest of the game. The Dolphins touchdown with 3 minutes left was just a trash score.

Final: Pats 38 - Dolphins - 24

Now having said that, this will be the Patriots toughest game of the last month of the season.

The Bears are a joke. The shit they are peddling out of Halas Hall is unbelievable. You mean to tell me the best we can do is Caleb fucking Hanie? He fucking sucks. I cannot tell you how fucking angry I am as a lifelong Bears fan. We have no backup QB, the O-line is atrocious and we have a pedestrian WR corp. I am embarrassed to be a Bears fan and I know I'm not alone after watching this team stink it up the last four games. Jerry Angelo knew Hanie couldn't play, he knew the WR corp sucked, he knew the O-line sucked and what did he do? He picked up Roy Williams and Chris Spencer, well ladi fucking da Jerry. My little ten year old cousin could make better draft picks than Jerry Angelo. This team needs to be completely overhauled and the absence of Cutler has made us realize how bad this team really is. I don't know why I continue to watch this team. I've put my heart and soul into this team, watching every game every week like a dumbass and what do I get for it. Jerry Angelo is a joke and the McCaskey family is a joke. This team is complete horsehit, goddammit. I can't stand it anymore.:bang::hairpull:

But nothing is going to change because next week against GB you're going see Hanie under center again because who else are you going to put in? Josh McCown, I mean the guy was out of football for a reason when the Bears signed him: he bites, he coaching high football for christs sake. Kill me now.

Going into the off season last year the Bears greatest needs were at WR and O-line. This year its the same damn thing. What the hell are the Bears doing? I'm fucking mad as hell.

Why do so many teams fail to address the motherfucking O-line position? I mean its only the most important part of running your offense. You can have Pro-Bowlers at every position but if your line sucks its moot. Chaps my ass!
