Pucker Up Butter Cup.
Matt Ryan and Joe Flacco were drafted in the same round of the 2008 Draft. Back then I wanted us to trade up for Ryan, but now I'm a lot happier we didn't. Because Flacco wins at home and the road, Ryan only wins at home. And also because we probably would have traded our 2nd Round pick, and who did we get with that pick??? Ray Rice!

The dude has 3 studs to throw to, Roddy White,Julio Jones,and Tony Gonzalez(eventhough hes out of his prime)and he still looks average, it would be scary to know what Brees or Rodgers would do with those targets!

Ryan is still young. He's orchestrated some epic comebacks in his short career. The Falcons are a perennial playoff contender with him throwing the ball. Even with his troubles on the road, there is probably 20 teams who'd take him in a heartbeat. I think he'll win a Super Bowl in Atlanta before he's done.

Actually he is above average, I jumped the gun on average. I just don't see anything special with the guy but I'm also a Falcons hater :) I think he had his best chance last year to win a ring and he failed, even at home, I'm glad he did :D

Atlanta has the pieces to win they just have the same problem many teams have. how do you best utilize your weapons. the Saints put on a clinic of how to use all the weapons they have maybe folks should consider just how good the saints would be with a better Defense.

i like parts of the Ravens i would like Joe Flacco to get them by Pittsburgh once when it matters but they better win soon the defense is getting old fast.

i'm so glad the Jets are imploding maybe Rex will finally shot his trap

We actually have a pretty young defense. Our D-Line is pretty young: Redding(31), Ngata(27), Mt.Cody(21), and our backups are 28/25... Our Linbackers are all young except for Lewis: Suggs(29), Johnson(30), McClain(26), and the backups are 31/25/26/24/25... Our Cornerbacks are extreamly young with noone being over 28... And besides Reed, none of our safeties are over 30... Our defense was actually better when Lewis left, so there's no worries about next season when he retires. A lot of people think our defense is old, but it's really only 3-4 people who are a little bit old, but we have a ton of young backups who can step in at any time

Whoever thinks there should be an asterisk in the record books should go fuck themselves, Brees is great and he deserves that record

People think there should be an asterisk? Why?

Yeah some of the expert sports writers do, they say that Brees numbers are inflated because of the new QB rules that have changed since Marino's playing days

People think there should be an asterisk? Why?

Because it's a passing league now. Because receivers and QBs are protected more than what they used to be. It's a bullshit argument. It's been a passing league for a few years now and nobody has passed the record until Brees did.

He has all the Big Ten passing records, it's only natural that he'd break some NFL records as well.

Beacause there was NO forcefield around Dan Marino like there is around Drew Brees today.
Back then Marinos wideouts were getting smashed all the way down the field, today you can't touch Bree's wideouts after the first 5 yards.

I know the rules are different. Brees isn't breaking the rules like Bonds, so his record is asterisk free. People act like these oldrecords are sacred and can't accept the fact that better players are going to break them.

Eli=Super Bowl and Pro Bowls
Stafford=Baby fat and pimples

C'mon ma dood!:facepalm:

LOL

Stafford - 10 wins. 36 TD's. 14 INTs. 4,518 Yards.
Manning - 8 wins. 26 TD's. 16 INTs. 4,587 Yards.

Seems pretty clear who had the better year to me. Stafford also led the Lions to 4 second half comebacks when down by 13 or more points. So why does Manning belong in the Pro Bowl over Stafford? Because he won a Super Bowl in 2007? Oh ok. Put your helmet back on apz. There isn't enough room in your mouth for Tebow and Eli's cock. Cam Newton belongs over Eli. Romo belongs over Eli. I'd even say Ryan deserves an alternate spot over Eli. Eli is a solid QB, but he doesn't deserve a Pro Bowl spot this year.
