ive heard people bitching about the possible remake because it might not have that scene in it... seriously, is a kid getting run over, let alone the part you mentioned really necessary?
What film is this then?. I've no problem with seeing kids die in horror movies. At times they should be subjected to the same fate as the rest of the cast of characters. In life kids die and it should be the same in movies. Especially HORROR movies thus it gives it it's true title... a horror movie. But when it comes to sick things like sexual antics involving kids be it happening to them or like you stated above getting off on the aftermath of violence towards kids that's just sick so it is. But kids being killed in zombie attacks or from bad guys or whatever sure. Go ahead. Why not. It's a horror movie so it should shock to an extent.

Yep they are remaking that and Christine, and probably they will remake The Graveyard Shift, Pet Cemetary, and other Stephen King books to movies. I would love to see them make a movie out of Cell or The Darktower, none of that made for tv though. Cell and the Darktower would be great on the big screen.
i dont think theres a child actor alive that can do justice to miko hughes performance
