Which of these games do you believe will eventually have a greater impact on the Championship race

1. (8)Nebraska at (7)Wisconsin

2. (3)Alabama at (12)Florida

3. (13)Clemson at (11)VA Tech

4. Niether (I'm too pussy to pick)

I chose Clemson/VA Tech simply because Clemson is starting to smell a lot like Auburn from last year. Not only that, but with a win, Clemson has a lot more to gain than all of these other teams mentioned based on the wins they've had so far. They'd jump up way further in the polls than those other teams in the poll can.

True...if Clemson can get by VA Tech...it would seem to be down hill for them.

On the down (hill) side for them though "Dabo" ('that boy') will blow another cog, pull a Kill and die. Then Clemson will be without a coach for the rest of the year.:(

I actually voted for Bama at Florida, but now that I think about it... Nebraska at Wisconsin. My reasoning for this is because I think a 1 loss SEC will still make it to the title game. I don't think Nebraska or Wisconsin can afford a loss.

I think Alabama at Florida will. Not because of this this game as such.
But because it means a lot as to who will get in the SEC Championship game.
And that will do more to determine the teams in the National Championship than any of the games this week.

Bama/Florida because Bama is the only team that will get serious NC consideration out of the teams listed.

An undefeated Wisconsin team would get serious run over any 1-loss SEC team. Hell, so would Nebraska.

Florida-Alabama game, esp. considering all the national buzz Saban's outfit came into the season with. The ACC hasn't had a team play for the BCS title in quite some time, and neither Nebraska or Wisconsin were considered front runners for the MNC.

I'm not sure I agree. A 1-loss SEC champ could very well be ahead of an undefeated Wisconsin. The SEC hype from winning the last 5 championships by 4 different teams has endeared the media to the conference. I would prefer a 1-loss SEC team to get in over an undefeated Wisconsin, not because I'm an SEC fan, but because it would create controversy and add fuel to the fire of the public finally getting what they want, a playoff.

It not so certain nowadays. The SEC has had a built in advantage at the end of the year over The Big Ten and (prev.) Pac 10 in having a championship game whereas the other 2 didn't.

In the case of an undefeated or 1 loss Big Ten or Pac 10 going against the same in a SEC team..the SEC team would have the winning pct. advantage with the extra game, a SOS advantage with the extra game and the additional week to impress humans by winning while the B10 and Pac 10 were idle.

Incidentally...

That was one reason why USC move their last game later in the year. The B10 was just SOL because by B10 rule the last reg. season game had to be played Thanksgivings week or something (I swear the B10 and it's rules have probably cost the B10 several chances at Championships...maybe that's the reason why the new logo and this guy  are the same 'races' (color for those of you into that)

The SEC has more than few overrated teams there, most notably Arkansas and Mississippi State, who came in to the season ranked far too high. Wisconsin is a very underrated team, even at number 7, IMO... but Clemson can really put themselves in the top team discussion with a win on Saturday.
