Well all that red and white kool-aid I was drinking well hell it could have been worse ...wait no it could not have been anyway lets see how the Rebels play from here.By the way who do you guys have for the California-Oregon game :dunno:

If Cal plays like they CAN play, they should win... but if recent history tells us anything, it's that Oregon can upset any team on any given Saturday. Should be fun to watch.

Cal in a headline-making blowout in Autzen. I read a rumor in the ESPN blog that the Quack Attack is going to debut a "retro Uni" at this game...something that looks like what the Ducks wore in 1994....(YUCK!)

cal 35 bodie's quacks 17

Possible game of the week (no disrespect at all to Miami-VT) is Texas Tech at Houston. Living in H-town, Cougar football has been the sports stepchild for almost 20 years. I have to say that the entire town is all lit up over the Coogs. They undoubtedly face a monster test against the Pirate and his mateys tomorrow night and the game could turn into an absolute shootout. Potts proved his talent against the 'Horns last week and they have to be desperate for a win. Case Keenum and the Cougar offense is one of the best in the nation. If Houston can somehow find a way to win, they stand a very reasonable chance of going undefeated this year. If you liked the Fresno St.-Boise St. game last week, I'd urge you to tune in tomorrow night to catch this game. First sellout at Robertson Field since who-knows-when. It should be a killer game.

Where are you from Jagger? Oh yes, Texas.

My pick is Miami, OH vs Kent St.

In all seriousness though, Boise St needs to look out for Bowling Green.

I thought tyhis was kind of an odd quirk. This week the Buckeyes face a former assistant coach for the 3rd straight week.

No matter how much they seem to change it all the time they have had the worst looking uniforms for college football pretty much forever now. Sometimes I wonder if they try to make them look bad.

Oh really....that funny is it, BI?

I may be from Texas but if you think this won't be a great game to watch, well....go ahead and miss it. If you've never seen Kevin Sumlin's offense with Case Keenum running it at QB (all he did was lead the nation in total offense last year), you're missing a treat. And we all know about Mike Leach's football teams. Tech may end up winning....quite likely in fact but it should be fun nonetheless....even if you ain't from Texas.

Allow me to introduce you to Case Keenum....

Let me know how the Miami (Ohio)-Kent St. game turns out....:1orglaugh

I'm with you on this one Jagger also i will be keeping a close eye on the Southern Miss-Kansas game.Like I said before if they (Houston and USM)can both win it could set up a big time BCS Buster game in Oct.31:thumbsup:

The game tonight is without the dramatic implications of last night's game but Mizzou can go 4-0 going into conference play if they can beat Nevada. No one is giving the Tigers any love this year since Daniel and Maclin left so I hope they come out strong. It worries me a bit since the game has "trap" written all over it...."wolf" trap that is! I'm picking the Tigers to win easily by going up big early and then allowing a few cheap scores for the Wolf Pack during garbage time....Missouri 38, Nevada 17.

So far so good Jagger...this is shaping up to be closer than I expected.

Somebody needs to tell Missouri that the actual game has started. They suck....just what I was worried about.

College football....so unpredictable. I'm hoping they wake up in the 2nd half. If not....hell, they deserve to lose. They should crush Nevada.

Spoken like a true fan of college football they are stinking it up

Whew!!! Good to see Lippencott jog off the field...after returning from his previous injury and getting an additional year to play.

Looks like Mizzou is pulling away from Nevada....if they punch this in it might, oh nevermind, Nevada just came up with a monster sack

Maybe this one's gonna go down to the wire...

Mizzou's offensive playcalls tonight were total shit. They were lucky with that goal-line fumble recovery and that non-call on the ensuing TD. Gabbert and Alexander are the real deal, though. They better prove it the next 3 weeks....Nebraska, Oklahoma State and Texas. They could easily be 4-3 if they don't ratchet things up.
