After taking my morning-after pill, congrats to Alabama and Coach Saban. They have a terrific team and earned the victory last night. I can play the "what if?" game here but it's pointless and comes off as whiny. Injuries are part of the game. We lost Colt so we lost the game. I'm proud of the way we hung in there and battled to come back in the second half. Most teams would have simply cratered....great job of showing poise and pride, boys and a great job of coaching by Mack and his staff! Thanks for the effort and all of the thrills this year!!! And nothing but the best for Colt McCoy as he moves forward to his NFL career (as well as Shipley, Kindle, etc). Thanks guys.

I have never played the game so take my opinions in the light they are offered but with only a few seconds of the first half remaining and sixty odd yards of field to cover, what did the playcaller for Texas think they were going to get out of a shovel pass other than short yardage? Which wouldn't have been enough for a field goal attempt. What was the point of that play or was it a play that broke down and the quarterback panicked?

Because the previous 2 times we ran the end-around with Monroe he picked up big yardage and we were trying to get some points before the end of the half. Gilbert didn't panic on the play....it was just poor execution due to the fact that Gilbert probably hasn't worked with the first team offense in practice in 2 months. Monroe did his part to fuck up the play as well. Disastrous result but not a bad call at all had it been properly executed.

thanks jagger texas is a class act.no losers in that game last night in my book and to loose your playmaker you guys hung. the main thing is florida just got to watch and i hope they cable went out:rofl:and gilbert got a golden chanch last night..very few qbs get to play the #1 defence in the nation in the NC game that early...its all down hill for him now. what he learned last night he will remember as long as he takes snaps= ahead of most qbs. good luck to colt i think he be ok with time..we see him on sunday:thumbsup:
