Since there is a caste system in India and you are Indian (whether you were born there or born here)... tell me again why you think that was a racist question? My friend, I have worked with a LOT of Indians over the years. And from what some of them told me, the caste system, though it didn't necessarily follow them to the U.S., DID have an affect on how they viewed themselves and other groups (especially in social situations). Since you obviously have an obsession with race and ethnicity, I simply wondered if that might be part of the basis for that obsession. Something is causing it. If not that, then what might it be??? :dunno:
I'm not concerned with who or what you date. Until it became apparent that we were just going in circles, I was just trying to follow your logic on this thing. But thus far, you've just made Mr. Spock cry: too many generalizations and too much faulty logic.
But back to the OP... before you condemn New Jersey and praise the south, take a trip to Pulaski, Tennessee during their annual KKK celebration. Take your "foreign looking", White, Puerto Rican girlfriend with you... and as long as you escape town before night fall, you'll be able to tell the board about your "revised views" on the matter.
