Your favorite Beers!

My basic favorite brew is an Indian Pale Ale. I like hoppy beers over other beers.

My fav beers in no order
Sam Adams Boston Lager
Stone Brewing--Arrogant Bastard Ale and Pale Ale
Lagunitas
Rogue
Full Sail India Pale Ale
Chimay

Guiness is good...some Mexican beers are good...some are crap.

I pretty avoid the "corny" Big American brews (Bud, Coors, Miller)...

Unibroue Trois Pistoles
Unibroue Maudite
Delirium Tremens
Anchor Old Foghorn
Konigshoeven Quad
Dos Equis Amber (Lager isn't bad though)
New Belgium Fat Tire
New Belgium Skinny Dip
Orval
Shiner Bock (& the Triple Bock)
any Trappist beer
most Belgium style beers
and many, many more

A lot of these aren't beers they are gnat's piss.Look beyond the oceans of swill masquerading as lager (proper lager is a different matter) like Budmillercoors , Stella, Fosters, Red Stripe,Corona,Heineken and Peroni etc and try some real beer that actually has taste and character.Drink beer not advertising.

Just because I like beer that's not so thick that I have to chew it doesn't mean I'm drinking advertising. Actually, I haven't seen advertisements for most of the beers that I like. Everyone has different taste, and different people like different beers. I have a roommate who's happy to drink Bud Light. I personally hate the taste of really dark beer. That's why there are so many different kinds of beers: to cater to every taste. :2 cents:

Fat Tire (to those of you who don't know/never had.....sucks to be you)
Pilsner Urquell
Newcastle
Smithwicks
Fullers London Pride and ESB
Easy Street Wheat

I also brew my own from grain.......it is fantastic and better than most store bought beers.

Someone said Bud Lite.

Does this mean the thread is gonna be moved to the funny section? :(

Beer flavored water...
I like Dark Lagers and cask bar beer, here in Texas there was a Dark Lone Star that killed.
Amstel is a much better Dutch beer than Heineken, but I like Schlitz, Pearl, and Shiners, so what do I know?
In Louisiana there is a nearby brewery the makes awesome beers, Abita Springs. Great stuff.
After 2 or 3, though, does it matter?
See ya on "Cops"!:wave2:

Lowenbrau which I haven't seen in years was one of the best beers I have ever tasted. Doers anyone kow whether it is stll distrubuted in the US or not?

American beers (with excetion of some Micro breweries)are too 'green' or something, especially that awful Budweiser.

Fat Tire
Stella Artrois
Sierra Nevada

Maximum Ice,Heineken,Dominion Ale and Quidi Vidi 1892 Traditional Ale (Two Local Beers here in Newfoundland) :glugglug:
