I'm a pretty big fan of horror movies, and some of my favorites are zombie movies. I was just wondering what some of you thought. I'm going to add some of my favorites to the poll as well as some of the most popular. If you pick "Other" please post what it is, I might want to watch it :)

28 Days Later. Until this movie, I always thought zombies were kinda lame, and would actually be cool to fight. Slow and stupid. Where's the horror in that?:dunno: But when they were portrayed as fast and super pissed....... Great freakin' movie.

No, no, NOOOOOO...why do people LIKE that movie? :dunno:

You're joking, right? RIGHT?

I voted for the original Night. But I like the speed of the zombies in the remake of Dawn and in 28 Days.

My brother has quite a collection of zombie movies that I've watched and he has a few games that are fun to play.

I DID like it. I don't know, it was different. Like I said, all the zombie flicks I had seen before that were full of stupid, slow, retarded zombies. I really like how in 28 Days they flew at ya......made you think that if that really happened, it would be a hell of a lot harder to survive. I'd say original zombie movies would be like being attacked by a poodle......28 Days would be like being attacked by a pack of German Shepards.

Why did you not like it?

Resident Evil was the first scary game I ever played. Lets not talk about nightmares. I remember when I got my first airsoft gun, that was my teddybear for like 6 months. I would only walk on concrete and made sure if it was dark and I was alone I sprinted home. When your young and you get your first adrenaline rushes. Those are definitly the best.

Omg, any zombie movie or game. I forgot what movie it is, but I love the part where the sniper is just picking off certain zombies on the ground from the roof.

I want to see 28 weeks later.

That sounds like the remake of "Dawn of the Dead".

Romero deserves a LOT of credit for the original NOLD. Genuinely scary film. There have been good zombie films since, but all are derivative of Romero's classic, to some extent.

Romero is the godfather of zombie horror. His dead trilogy is pretty much definitive & Dawn of the Dead is the best, the Citizen Kane of zombie movies!! Shame he’s shit now with Land of the Dead being everything Dawn isn’t - a crappy mainstream Hollywood horror movie much like the awful Dawn remake. Romero should just stop making zombie movies now, a shame he didn’t get the Resident Evil job as it would have been much better than the crappy movie that it became.
28 Days Later is a great movie from Danny Boyle one of the most consistent directors around & Shaun of the Dead of course, maybe the best horror/comedy since American Werewolf In London!

I miss Planet Terror
No Planet Terror doesn't deserve to be on the list, a fuckawful film. Almost as bad as Deathproof...almost

THere's a similar scene in 28 Weeks Later when the shit hits the fan & the infected & civillians alike are running around & rooftop gunmen pick 'em off. I thought 28 Weeks Later was a bit underwhelming but the start is excellent & it has some good set-pieces.

Return Of The Living Dead and Return Of The Living 2 are worth mentioning, really funny zombie movies. In the second movie are the same two actors ,who were in the first movie and they died in the first.

Banned?
28 Days Later, reinvented the genre and did it well. Also had a pretty damn good sequel, which is rare these days.
