What happened to the rumoured King Conan movie?

The third Schwarzenegger Conan movie, tentatively called "King Conan: Crown of Iron", has been in various stages of development for the past twenty years. It has been close to being made on a couple of occasions, but something always came in the way, whether it be creative differences, scheduling problems or budget. The studio has now pulled the plug on that movie once and for all, and moved on.

I'm not a big Sci-Fi fan but Firefly was an excellent show.

I'm watching more tv series on dvd these days like Rescue Me, The Larry Sanders Show & Rome than actual movies but the missus had never seen L.A. Confidential & Traffic. Still good films.

I saw "The Last King Of Scotland" starring Forrest Whittaker this week.
It's a quasi-biopic of the Ugandan dictator Idi Amin. Whittaker is mesmerisingly good in it .. if he doesn't get best actor at Oscars then there is no justice at all.

If you like horror...Dario Arsento's PELTS is a must. First time I saw it I covered my eyes on several scenes. Horrific and erotic best describes PELTS.

I saw that. When I bought it in Japan the guy looked at me and said I buying a porno. I said no because I had read up on it, I sort of knew what to expect but I got stares. Brutal movie.
Same thing happened when I bought Irreversible.

I watched V a while back .. I quite enjoyed the idea of the film a 1984 rejigged and with vengeance thrown in for good measure, but I found it hard to empathise/identify with the lead character because of his expressionless mask face. I also thought it needed editing .. it was too long.
