Huge Extensive Update: Major Trouble w/ Jarrett Gone

There has been a lot of talk within TNA over how Jeff Jarrett’s situation could both positively and negatively effect those within the company. There are plenty of former TNA wrestlers and employees watching the saga closely, as they believe Jarrett was the main reason they were let go in the first place. TNA president Dixie Carter has a good reputation for reaching out via email or calls to people who have been let go and letting them know that it wasn’t a personal decision and that the door is open for returns. Meanwhile, several current TNA workers are watching the saga for a different reason -- they feel their jobs are in jeopardy. Here’s the latest on the status of several major players in TNA, according to the PWTorch.com Newsletter:

Christian: While it’s a moot point now, people close to Christian say that if Jarrett had been removed from power earlier, Christian may have never left TNA and returned to WWE.

He just wanted more money. He never really cared for wrestling, like the Rock.

ROH Star 'Insulted' By TNA's Victory Road PPV, More
Report by TNAWrestlingNews.com Staff on 07/26/2009 at 03:21 PM

Ring of Honor star Claudio Castagnoli has a new blog talking about how he was "insulted" as a professional wrestler to see the match presented at TNA's Victory Road PPV last Sunday between Sharmell and Jenna.

"Now what was so insulting? Well the fact that this chick that’s from a reality show that needs absolutely no talent can get a job in the wrestling business and being featured on PPV making a mockery out of the sport I love! Starting at the horrible entrance to the horrible slap right before Kong splashed her, you’re a ******** to the ring. Did you think if you act like a stripper people would not care what you do in the ring? Did she even train once? Because if she did I’m sure she’d be able to take a halfway decent bump or maybe run the ropes straight. But no, nothing! How can you be in a sport and not trying to get yourself ready? How insulting is that?"

Too big for two hours, but not too big for two hours and fifteen minutes.

Oh, how they spoil us.

SpikeTV couldn't give them an extra hour? :crash:

Lashley helps Foley win Legends title - TNA Impact TV report.

The Big News: Mick Foley won the TNA Legends Championship in a much better show than previous weeks when he pinned Kevin Nash in a tag team match. Much more wrestling, much less burying of the talent and even an attempt to create a superstar under the age of 40. Granted, a 30-year-old who should be a star by now had to put him over, but at least they tried.

I'd give it to Jay Lethal/ Black Machismo just to shake things up. :D

Can't he just be called, Mr. Machismo Jay Lethal?

The Future Of TNA Epics?, Shark Boy's TNA Return.

Chris Kelly sent this in: Over on TNAwrestling.com, TNA Epics has been totally removed from the UK programming list thus confirming TNA Epics has been officially cancelled in the UK. Following this cancellation, only TNA Impact and PPV's air in the UK. TNA Epics has been added to the programming list in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

For those who missed it last week, TNAWrestlingNews.com has confirmed that Shark Boy is booked for the next set of TNA TV tapings in Orlando following the Hard Justice PPV in August. This will be Shark Boy's first appearance with TNA in quite a while.

I'd like to see the TNA Epics program.

Shark Boy is coming back.

Big Backstage News On Paul Heyman & TNA Wrestling.

There is a feeling among friends of Paul Heyman that he would accept a position with TNA if he had power beyond just writing the shows. Heyman apparently feels TNA needs an overhaul both on the talent side and in the office but doesn’t believe Dixie Carter would give him so much power, so he isn’t taking the idea of working for TNA seriously. Likewise, Carter hasn’t reached out to Heyman regarding a creative position yet despite recommendations.

Heyman does have detractors within TNA, primarily those who fear they would lose power or even their jobs if Heyman was brought in and given the power he wants. Meanwhile, others simply don’t have confidence in his abilities anymore.

Heyman’s name has come up within TNA before, and there are many stories of people badmouthing him to Dixie Carter. While most of the locker room seems open to the idea, there’s bad ***** between Heyman and Team 3D and some other former ECW stars who have shared stories about mismanagement in ECW.

On the other side of the coin, Heyman has had good relationships with Kurt Angle, Bobby Lashley, Shawn Daivari, and Ken “Mr. Kennedy” Anderson who is expected to sign with TNA eventually. He’s also had a good rapport over the years with TNA head of talent relations Terry Taylor, whose stock within the company seems to be rising.

Nevertheless, it might be a difficult sell to Carter, who has been hearing bad stories about Heyman for years. Plus, there are already some within the company who feel that Heyman publicly saying he would “never” work for TNA was a snub and the primary reason why Carter shouldn’t consider bringing him in.

Column: KNOCKED OUT: Roxxi Interview

Roxxi Sets the Record Straight.

From time to time I take part in an internet wrestling show a la Monday Night Mayhem called QCWradio. Recently, we had the good fortune to have as a special guest, former TNA Knockout, Roxxi a.k.a. Mike Knox needs to sign with TNA.

With a better trainer and someone to teach him new moves and how to dive off the top turnbuckle like Mike Awesome used to do.
He would be a great addition to TNA.

Masato Tanaka would be a great addition to TNA's roster, as well.

Mike Knox vs Masato Tanaka. It could be like the Mike Awesome vs Tanaka match.

:D :hatsoff:

i thought this weeks tna was pretty damn good

It was a cracking show.

Two heel stables joining ******, a major brawl that involved practically the entire roster and Traci Brooks' :lovecoupl first match in ages. Is it just me, or is she now twice as hot since she turned heel? I can't believe the cameramen didn't get a close-up of that kiss she planted on Taylor at the end of their match.

Rumor: Gregory Helms & Velvet Sky Break Up?, Details
by Matt Boone
Aug 13, 2009

Nicole Lopez sent along the following:

Hi, I have an account on your site (RatedRDiva) and I have this juicey scope on why TNA Knockout Velvet Sky and WWE Superstar Gregory Helms broke up.

I was able to connect the dots before it was stated on their wikipeadia pages that the two were no longer dating. So on Helms Twitter page ( Premium Link Upgrade ) you can see that he and former WWE Diva Victoria (Now known as TNA Knockout Tara) have a bit of a flirty tweeting back and forth, while on Tara's twitter page ( Premium Link Upgrade ) Tara states to him "The important thing is I care about you" He was also talking about her lips, and we all know what the wink sign means ;)

I was also able to tell the two were toast because on Helms twitter page he stated "All good things must come to an end" and on Velvets Myspace Helms is no longer on her top friends.

I do think that Victoria/Tara haves something to do with Sky's and Helms break up. Judging from the past rumors with her and the Guerrero's, and Benoit is leading me to think that was all true.

Does she really love to "mess around" with people who are in relationships? Please get to me once you read this and tell me your opinion.

Report: The Latest on Jeff Jarrett's Current TNA Status
by Nick Paglino
Aug 13, 2009

Jason Powell of ProWrestling.net is reporting that although Jeff Jarrett is still currently on a "hiatus" from TNA, he is most likely expected to return to the company in some form.

Sources within TNA are reporting that Jarrett will likely return to the company as an on-air talent, and he might even get some creative control back in a smaller capacity than he had before. It's being said that Jarrett would likely not return to the company solely as an on-air wrestler and would at least have to have some control over the booking of the product.

While nothing has been confirmed, there is also concern within the TNA locker room that the company might try to create a worked shoot out of the real life Karen Angle/Jeff Jarrett situation, and bring Kurt Angle into the mix on TNA TV.

a good impact not as good as last weels good to see christy hemme back she looked great but her match was sloppy

I was paying more attention to her than the match. :D Besides, give her a break, she's been out for months, it takes time to get back to the way she was. You don't expect her to just do it overnight, do you? Let's see YOU wrestle! :1orglaugh
